Sounds like maybe it'll prevent idiot sellers from incessantly relisting toys with ridiculous BINs.  Can't complain about that!

It was nice to see the beginning of the betrayal cooked up by Tywin and Varys.  I gotta wonder with no prophesies if they'll bother with the pale mare at all.

Watch the Marvel One-Shot "All Hail the King".  It kinda changes things after IM3.

Not familiar with any Chinese monster lore in the Marvel Universe.  Best guess would be look at the Mandarin.  The "real" one referenced in the 1-shot, not Trevor.

I was just about to post the same thing.   ;D

I'm excited for both.  SHIELD has been very good, approaching great, since January.  And Carter looks very promising.  From what I hear they might do SHIELD in the fall, Carter during the winter, and SHIELD back in the spring.  That'd be a lot better than what they did with SHIELD this year... 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off, 1 week back on again, etc.

I'm quite familiar.  But it still takes big brassy ones to go through with it.

I enjoyed it pretty well.  I'd say it was my second favorite to the first Spidey 2.  Garfield does really well in the role.

Spoiler:  I was kinda surprised they actually went through with the Gwen Stacey part.

Under an overpass is an ideal place to hide during a tornado.  Normally lying flat near the side.

Going back for the dog instead of sending your indestructible alien son?  Unreasonably idiotic.

And that was all WITH Chris Nolan's guidance...

I thought it was stupid that Zod didn't throw up his arms and surrender when Supes was about to commit genocide.  "Whoa - whoa - whoa!  Alright!  You win!  I'm genetically programmed to do anything possible to protect these embryos... So let me just fly this baby to some other planet.  No need to exterminate a billion innocent unborn Kryptonians!"

Joe Quesada comments on Man of Steel

Quote
As a comic book fan, I wanted to love that movie so much. I just think at the end of the day, Zod was the hero of the movie to me. He wanted to save his race, and Superman didn't let him. Zod, in this particular incarnation, struck me as not necessarily an evil man, he had his orders, he had a mission.

I had the same exact reaction - one of the big failures with the script, IMO.

WB hitches their wagon to Snyder

Because obviously Man of Steel didn't bomb like Green Lantern.

I'm in the same boat.  I think they've diverged a bit from the books.  I also don't remember anything like the ceremony at the end from the books.

Book Spoiler:

Reading the Wiki - it looks like in the books only Summer ever encountered the traitors... what was left of them.

I think it was "in production" for a good, long while rather than being resurrected.  There was controversy with season 3 where they didn't air a couple episodes that were critical of BET.  That led to creative differences when they started on season 4, to the point where McGruder dropped out as showrunner.  And I speculate that what they did was wrap up what was already in progress to produce season 4, which they're calling the final season.  I'd be nice if these ratings prompt CN to reconsider that course.
