I think if you're connecting at all, the configuration is correct.  There's only a couple things to set, and if any of them were incorrect (WEP setting, password, etc.) you'd never connect at all.  So I would conclude that the signal strength is just wavering enough that it drops completely periodically.

As for running a wire... I actually enjoy doing stuff like that, so that probably biases my assessment of the difficulty.   8)

Not gonna happen.  TDK made $16 million over this past weekend.  Even if it only drops modestly it'd have to be top-10 for the next two or three months to make another $126 million.

Bring something new, or don't bring it at all.   ;)

That stinks.  Looks like you're in a bad spot.  Do you have the same trouble with laptops in that area of the house?

If you have a basement running Ethernet is extremely easy if both rooms are on the first floor.  Just drop a cabe through the floor in the computer room, and pop it back up in the living room.  Otherwise it's very difficult.  I ended up going wireless to a PC in the second floor bedroom rather than running anything through the walls.  The connection isn't the best, but it suffices.

If your booster is on the fritz, your best bet might just be replacing it.

You either need a signal booster, or you need to run a wire.  Given that most signal boosters require you to run a wire to them anyway, you're best bet is probably just running a wire to the PS3.  You could also try relocating your wireless router closer to the PS3.  Or if the router is old, maybe updating it would help.

You also gotta figure that they wanted the film to be slightly more kid-friendly, rather than suggesting orgies.

It'll be great to watch that deleted scene in HD, though!   ;D

What do you guys use to make your animated avatars?  I've made them manually in Photoshop, but don't have anything that'd take an existing one and crop it.  I'd love to recreated my punching CockKnocker using something easier.

Well, I guess this is as good a reason as any to get a Blu-Ray player.  :)

Iron Man would be a better reason, but whatever works for ya.   ;)

Now if they came out with Raiders on Blu-ray...

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Welcome to the Jungle Gn'R Fan Club

Word is GnR is negotiating for this album to be released exclusively at one retailer.  They're considering either Walmart of Best Buy.  If it's Walmart, would the album not be allowed to have the parental warning sticker?  I don't know if they ever reversed that policy.

Rest assured we'll see it soon.
