Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Jeff For Fan Club President!
« on: May 2, 2006, 12:14 AM »
Given the fact that they were giving away items of equal value to the subscription just for people to sign up, I was expecting more than 30 people to avail themselves of the offer.  I mean, 30 people is like 1 or 2 an hour.  I was expecting him to double his count.  I thought it was an effective idea to get a lot more bounties.

Considering the cost of flying him down there, a booth at the convention, and the wholesale value of the hand-outs, I wonder if it would have been cheaper for them to just buy 30 subscriptions and give them away.

I don't know... maybe some of the people who signed up are still being processed.  The tally doesn't update dynamically, after all.

Latest results:

126 - uscwannabe
117 - dustin@rebelscum.com

I assume these results include the weekend's take.  Is it possible Dustin only got 29 people to sign up in Dallas?

To me, I can look at a good looking girl, admire whatever I'm admiring on her, but still not really feel as though I'm lusting for her...

Except at Hooters...

It would have been nicer if Dustin had come in and addressed his old E-mail instead of the OSWCC Public Relations Officer.  That may have served his candidacy better.  I think a candidate looks weaker when he allows other people to run to his defense at every whisper of opposition.  As I told Dustin, he's not going to win this contest by containing himself to the friendly confines of the Phil Wise galaxy.  And he's not going to win based on the endorsement of the Greater Albuquerque Star Wars Costuming Troop, either... which is just about what he's down to in his endorsement hunt.  His efforts have been effective, but USC has been one step ahead of him the entire time.  If he doesn't start taking risks, he's going to lose.

If my girlfriend and I mutually decide to bring another woman or (  :-X ) man into our bedroom...

That smiley made me laugh out loud.   ;D

What Say you to agreed couples involved in orgies, sex parties trading partners ect? At least they agree.

There's a big difference between infidelity and something to which both partners agree.  While the latter is outside the norm for most relationships, it doesn't involve a betrayal.  So if that's what a couple wants to do, I think that's their decision to make.

One thing that pisses me off is when I'm sitting with my family in church, and 30 minutes into the mass, a 12,000 member family walks over, and instead of sitting in the 5-6 completley empty pews near us, they choose to site in our pew. First, if you're going to be 30 minutes late to mass, don't come at all, and second, there are 10 empty pews around us. USE THEM.

My parents visited a Church for Mass once while on vacation.  They sat in a random row in the back of the Church.  In walks an old woman.  She stood there, beside the pew, silent, and waited until my parents got up and moved to a different pew.  She didn't even look at them... just stood there in the aisle and waited.  I guess they sat in the same seat she's been in for years.   ;D

Thankfully I've never been cheated on (nor done any cheating).  Early in my relationship with my wife, I told her that was the one thing for which I could never forgive her.  She understood, and it's never been an issue.  We've had our share of bumps in the road over the past 12+ years (married for almost 9), but never anything approaching that sort of betrayal.

Eva's on this month's cover of Shape magazine.  I saw it at the grocery story.  The scan from their site doesn't do her justice...

I don't see a "second row" at that link.

Maybe "evenflow" could post the url where we can see the actual photos and vote?

Congrats, Spuffy!

I know the thrill of being published can't easily be matched.

Ugh.  I find Marcia Cross revolting.  Her face looks like clay or something.

And yeah, I'm having a problem with my avatar.  The new IP addresses for all my domains haven't fully propogated, and I still need to upload a few misc. graphics to some of them.

I'm like John--she's not ugly or anything, but she's not even the hottest Housewife, to me, anyway.

Who's hotter?  I don't watch the show, but Eva is the only one I've seen in photos that I find attractive at all.  The blonde from that 7-Up commercial isn't bad looking, nor is Terri, but the rest do nothing for me.
