Saga '02-'04 / Re: Silver Fett and Clonetrooper coming...
« on: April 17, 2003, 02:57 PM »
I really don't care too much for these, I have a Silver R2 and he is cool, don't have a Silver VAder and don't care that I don't  The exclusivity of Convention type exclusives (see Muppets and MOTU lines) borders on asinine IMO.  Same goes for Mr Sacul as well

Good question, I don't think they will be worth huge money (look at all of the silly errors of the PoTF2 stuff) but there will be people willing to buy legitimate figure variations...

I got a Blonde Imperial Officer off of ebay, I haven't seen them anywhere and I am mighty glad I did.  I also have a couple of Bloody Stump Lukes, not exactly rare but I think it is a cool figure

Well, I stopped by my Target yesterday to pick up 3 MOTU figures for my Free Moss Man and saw...pegs upon pegs of Vader, Luke, Mace and Jango Arena, I mean there were 50 of each and they weren't moving.  4 days into the sale and the things still aren't going.  Hasbro f'd up distribution AGAIN!

Who has this awesome book?  Wifey got it for me two years ago  for Christmas and it is one of my absolute favorites

New copies run for over $100, Half.com usually has them for cheaper though

This is always fun to do, what was the last few things you've scored on eBay?

Mine was a Marvel Legendsesque Absorbing Man from the old Hulk line...

I need to still get She Hulk :)

JD Sports Forum! / Re: The NBA Playoffs
« on: April 17, 2003, 01:46 PM »
Wow, mighty kind of you, with our upcoming bout coming up, my passion for dissing the Lakers and us butting heads in the MLB Playoffs last year, you have evry right to rub it in a little.

The Wolves might win one, maybe two but I see the Lakers in 5  :'(

I'm still going with the Kings or Spurs versus the proverbial Eastern Patsy, Philly and NJ have both had a shot, lets go with a throwback to the Bad Boys and say Detroit versus SA in the finals (snooze)

Alright, I switched it back, it isn't Teebo :-*

13677
Chris must have added the Teebo thing cause I don't think that is him either

Watto's Junk Yard / Your Favorite Band?
« on: April 17, 2003, 12:03 PM »
I know some people's favorites, not everyones though.  I'll start out

First and above all others are my boys:

Pearl Jam

I've been to two of their shows and am lucky enough to go three more times this summer.  All of the crap they go the extra mile for with us the fans is amazing.  Full concert bootlegs a week after the show for $15 a piece.  Charging standard price for floor seats in the front few rows.  Christmas Records every year.  $13 for T-Shirts at the show and I could go on and on.

Beyond them I really enjoy Grunge

Soundgarden
Nirvana
Alice in Chains
Stone Temple Pilots

And then these bands or solo acts also tickle my fancy

The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
Guns n' f'n Roses
Smashing Pumpkins (and Zwan)
Dave Matthews Band
Ben Harper
Natalie Merchant
The Who
Neil Young
The Black Crowes
Radiohead
U2
Nat King Cole
Bing Crosby
Blind Melon (highly under rated)

And then let's not forget Jazz

Miles
Coltrane
Monk
Getz
Mingus
Brubeck
Guilardi

We can do bands you hate later on :P
