Saga '02-'04 / New Pics, Wedding Padme, Wat Tambor and Coleman

Wat Tambor is amazing, I am really pumped by that figure.

Should it not be Padme Skywalker and not Padme Amidala!!!  Something is a little off with her face, not so angelic, I still love every new Padme figure.

Coleman is Coleman, I'll buy him, I know a certain group of people who will be wetting themselves when they see this one  8)

Are you sure the yoda, etc. will be EU. If they come out in the fall, that would coincide with The Clone Wars CG cartoon. Maybe their based on the cartoons pre-production drawings? ???
ANything outside of the movies themselves is considered EU, that includes the Ewoks Movies, Droids cartoons, the Shadows of the Empire and this current abomination  :P

It is neat to see what people look like it gives you a better mental idea of what you are conversing with.

One of my weirdest threads ever was at Rebelscum where we discussed using different "inner-voices" for different users, I should bump that one up.

Were you expecting short dark and handsome Matt  :P

After initially passing on this stuff I decided once I saw the original Vader I just had to have them all, some are so so (Padme and Maul) but Vader and Dooku are sweeeeet.

I like the look of Luke a lot and look forward to the release of the rest of the year:

Darth Sidious
Obi Wan Kenobi (Episode II)
Yoda
Boba Fett
Han Solo

It is hard to tell but the Clones around Senor Yoda look articulated ala the Saga Red Trooper.  Too bad this is all we are getting :(

Mixed, I hate most EU so some of this stuff doesn't appeal to me.  I'll pick up for sure those 3 packs though, very nice.  Basically anything that is in the movies I'll get, Yoda in his Hunting Vest will stay at the store.

I also hope the kids buy this stuff because they are putting their neck out pretty far and deviating from a known seller, could be bad news and pegwarming heaven (see also Shadows of the Empire!!!)

Saga '02-'04 / Re:New Darth Vader and Snowtrooper!
« on: February 14, 2003, 02:48 PM »
If Vader's arms, elbows (it looks like it) and shoulders (not so sure but hopefully) are articulated then he might one of the best figures ever. I really like the look of him.

The Snowtrooper is so so, not spectacular. They could have went a little further with the articulation but I'll still be getting some. The officer insignia, might detract a little from army building.

I am dissapointed there is no Luke pics, maybe later today as they do mention him in the article!

A new feature on Jedi Defender is the Defender Wish Lists.  You send your Wish List for 10[/i] 3 3/4" Figures to me, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes.  After two weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie.  Starting off the cycle is the "first" movie in the Saga, The Phantom Menace.  If you need help coming up with names check out the Official Sites Databank:   Episode I.  Have fun and thanks for sending in your lists (remember to limit it to ten)!

The T-Wolves would be in LeBron Jamesville if not for KG, the Lakers would be stilla round .500 without Crybaby just because of Shaq-Fu.

Dallas          38 12 .760 -
Sacramento 35 17 .673 4
San Antonio 34 16 .680 4
Portland       32 17 .653 5 1/2
Minnesota    31 20 .608 7 1/2
Utah             30 21 .588 8 1/2
Phoenix        29 22 .569 9 1/2
Houston       27 23 .540 11
LA Lakers     26 23 .531 11 1/2

The highest I see them getting is a #4 seed and that is a lot of teams to jump with 33 games to play.    Hopefully they don't tailspin again or it may be lottery time!!!

I agree that the Lakers still suck but I just wanted to give some props out to my beloved T-Wolves.  They have really turned it on with the comeback of Wally Sczerbiak and are poised to make a run at the #2-#4 seed in the West and they are doing it all without their #1 point guard and #2 money earner Terrell Brandon.  How anyone can think anybody but Kevin Garnett should be the MVP is ludicrous, and don't even start saying Crybabe Bryant
