Oooh...

Are those 2-pack cinema scenes on the shelves there? Dooku Vs. Anakin and Sidious Vs. Mace?

I couldn't believe it either, I've posted here, over at RS I started a thread on 1/04/04 about putting together "VS. 2 PACKS" and my god they actually did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even brought it up to them at SD how much this line was needed, besides GI Joe has had Vs. 2 packs for the longest time.

They could continue this line with the OT too:

Ben/Vader
X-wing/TIE pilots
Biker scout/endor rebel trooper
snowtrooper/hoth rebel trooper
Emperor/Luke
Luke/Vader
Han/Fett
etc. etc.
so many possibilities

Thanks, I've spent a few $$$ on protecto packs but it's well worth it.  Makes figs real easy to stack, move around, and hang with no worries of beating the stuff up.

It's hard to buy mint and store for yrs. without dinging them up without them.

Thanks guys!

Lets see, first, the Jango Fett is actually just the small gum(chicklet) dispenser that was out for AOTC.

The collection room spans, a 25'X35' basement, the stairs going up from the basement has 8x10 autograph pics on one side, the entire POTJ run on the other, some larger store displays in the garage, the family room has the saga/POTF2/vintage shelf, the upstairs hall has the green POTF2/CW/misc in cases, and my upstairs bedroom is full.

It's the upstiars room that I can't get good pictures of, I have so much stuff stacked on top of everything, it just looks like a mess. ;^)

OK, been woking on getting pics up somehow, so I setup a photobucket account and threw some pics in for starters.

www.photobucket.com  and then I think you just have to put in bobafett14 as a username to view.  Everyhting should be set.

So feel free to peruse.

The pics are kinda basic, and this will probably be a work in progress, as I can't get half my stuff in pics.  (I have over 4,000 items scattered all over the house)

Most of the pics are collection pics, and some pics from certain SW events, C2, Disney, SD comicon, etc. etc.

Enjoy, I'll probably be updating quite a bit as the months go by.

With the Lego SW game coming out, I want a game based on vintage SW figs.

IT be cheesy as all get out, but you could pick from being any of the original 12 figs, and you start from behind the bed, the goal being to ultimately get all the figures into sealed cases and packed away in the closet.  All the while fending off the dog, your big brother who likes to attach firecrackers to you, falling into the sand pit in the backyard, avoiding being sold at flea markets, and you have to try to not  lose your weapons in the sweeper.  You could run through all the vintage playsets as you go around the various levels  house/store/etc.  freeing the other 97 vintage  figures as you go with Yak-face an Snaggletooth being the last 2 you have to find and save.  Maybe you could be fighting off other toy lines like G.I. Joe, transformers, and for the very last "Boss" you have to fight off the Purple pieman!

As a bonus level you have to run back and forth on a desk and dodge rubber bands being shot at you from your little brother.

How's that?  ;^)

Yeah, that vintage line has a way of always pulling you back in.

Not sure if I should put a    :)  or a    :(  at the end of that one.

Steelers/Eagles.  (If the Steelers get by Indy-last ime we went ot the super bowl, Indy had one last throw to the end-zone which spliiped through the fingers of their reciever, I can see a "destiny pass" again, but this time it's caught-makes for good press.  I can see it now)

Steelers baby!  Jusat remember, the last team to beat Rothelisberger was.....................IOWA! ;^)

Thanks!  Don't know if I mentioned, but I love "collecting" all the video clips on SW anytime I can find them.  I have hrs. upon hrs. of TV clips, local news broadcasts, commercials, etc.

so, anytime you guys run across something  SW blurbs coming on TV, please post it.

Thanks again for the tip!

To me, humor takes me right out of a SW film.

I hate movies that while in the middle of a war or something, the characters thorw in one-liners.  Movies like Independance Day were totally ruined for me like that.

I mean if your city, friends or family were getting blown to pieces, would you even be thinking of jokes and one-liners and punch lines?

One suggestion, don't use HUGE boxes of stuff, better to have easier to carry med size boxes and make a few extra trips, it's easy to "overstack" items and have stuff crumple on you.

Plus, mark all your boxes "SW", especially if you have others helping in the move, that way you know which ones to be a little more careful with.

The more expensive and breakable stuff it's better to put in one box and have that right in the front seat next to you.

When I moved, the only things to not make it were my Vader Don Post helmet(helmet cracked right up the middle) and my R2 cooler, (same, stuff shifted and the dome cracked).

Also, the hyperspace webdoc on Kasshyyk and making the lava has a great shot in the backgorund of Vader on the op table with his helmet off.

Have to look on the postboards right by GL's left ear in the one shot. Also a nice shot of utapau and mustafar, and lots on the wookies/planet/tree.
