Watto's Junk Yard / MOVED: Hello!
« on: February 8, 2007, 09:11 AM »

I'm glad there has been a spike in interest lately. But I'm going to bring this up once again, who here is actually going? I need a list of everyone who is going to be at Celebration IV FOR SURE. No wishy-washy answers. They don't help me at all. You are either 100% sure you are going, or you aren't. If we don't have enough people going we are going to need to cancel.

That being said I need a list of who is going. Tell me when you arrive, when you leave, how many days you will actually be at the convention. And how many hours you will be willing to work the booth. Don't commit to hours now that you'll want to change later. We need to make a schedule to determine whether or not we have enough people to staff a booth, before we get any farther on this project.

Here is what I have so far:

All five days:

-Ryan
-Arrive Tuesday the 22nd and leave Tuesday the 29th
-Can only work an hour a day tops
    -Can setup and take down

-Phruby

A few days:

-Brent
   -Saturday and Sunday

Not going to be able to make it:

-Chewie
-Daigo-bah
-PenDragon
-CloneCommander1
-DarthEnnis

Feedback / Joerhyno's feedback

I'd like start this off a a good note for Joe. We recently went in on a deal together for a 12" and a Unleashed Grievous. I wanted the Unleashed and he wanted the 12''. He had them both shipped to his house, but instead of making me wait for them to  be shipped to him and then out to me, he stuck his Grievous in the mail for me. Thanks again for the great trade Joe!

Feedback / Hashmanati's feedback
« on: July 25, 2006, 01:33 AM »
I just completed a good deal with Hashmanati.

Ipicked up a few loose figures from him. He packed everything up really nice and put the accessories in a seoerate zip-log baggie so they wouldn't get lost.

Thanks again. :)

I'm sure you've all already heard of this so I'll keep this short.

I've been selected to head up the team responsible for the diorama construction and design. This of course WAY too much forone person to handle alone, which is where you guys come in. I need volunteers to help design/construct the various pieces of the diorama.

I still have yet to decide how many people I'm going to need for each type of construction, i.e. City, mountains, wilderness, etc.

I've got a bunch of ideas running through my head right now, as I'm sure most of you do as well. We'll hold off on them all for now, until we know more about how much space we will have, and have some more concept sketches.

If you are interested let me know and I'll add you to the list. :)

Star Wars Universe / Secrets of Star Wars '07...
« on: May 25, 2006, 02:53 AM »
Has anyone else with HS been following this at all? I have to say I'm more than a little curious as to what it is exactly. I think it is fairly obvious it is either going to be the T.V. show or a video game of some sort, but i haven't decided which yet. At E3, the yearly video game convention akin to Comic Con, LucasArts revelaed concept art for some game that appears to revolve around Vader. And that was all they released, there weren't any trailers or screenshots or anything like that. So I'm wondering if this is perhaps a continuation of that? But at the same time this seems to be getting a pretty big hype for a video game. Which leads me to believe it could also possibly be early TV show concept art?

The newest one is pretty cool looking. For those without HS, it is a big ol' Star Destroyer and a few TIEs desending out of some really dark clouds onto Naboo. There are a good amount of AT-ATs on the ground, and parts of the city seem to be up in flames.

So what is everyone else's thoughts on this?

Here's the link BTW:

The Secrets of Star Wars '07

I'm not really sure where this topic is supposed to go, so I figured I'd throw it in here. If the mods would like to move it elsewhere, go right ahead.

I supposed I should start one of these up for Pat. I've traded with him several times and it has always been hassle free.

He hooked me up with a UGH figure I needed today.

Thanks again! :)

Site Feedback, Suggestions, and Help / Typo?

I just noticed this today when I was looking for something to read on the forums, it appears there is a typo in the Toy Review forum description:

I think the word "know" needs to be in there between "everyone" and "what."

What is that? Is it supposed to be his starfighter or am I oblivious to some other item coming out soon? ???
