Great update Justin! Those scientists are creepy looking. They remind me a lot of THX 1138. The gladiators are fun, I really like the helmet color you chose on them, oddly that is my favorite part about them even. I really like how it looks like a muted steel, it kind of gives it much more of a Roman gladiator type feel. The background aliens all look great too. Great stuff as always!

I'm really sorry to hear about Tarkin, Jesse. He sounds like he was a great cat. Unfortunately I totally know your pain.

Yesterday we had to put down our 14 year old Aussie/Border Collie mix, Blizzard. He was my first dog. I know he was old and lived a good long life, but it really sucks to see him go. He died in my arms at the vet yesterday morning. I was a wreck all day.

I currently work full time at a retail store as a peon(for one of the shittiest companies I have ever seen), despite the fact that I have a bachelor's degree. In addition to that, I also go to film school full time and work part time at the film school. with school I'm constantly working on my own projects and helping out other students with theirs. I haven't had a Saturday off since the beginning of August. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are all 14 hour days for me. And on top of all of that I've been trying to plan my wedding. I've been doing all of this since August. Several times within the past month my work has basically told me that my schedule is no longer going to work with them and that I'd either need to go part time, drop out of school, or that I wouldn't be able to work there anymore. They have been giving me about the worst possible schedule that they can. Anything less than full time there and my girlfriend and I can't pay rent/bills. I've been working at this company for two and a half years.

I've been looking for other work for a while now, but because I'm now in school all day Mondays and Wednesdays and really need an additional day off for filming/mental sanity during the week most regular companies won't hire me. Fun. 

I nabbed the first Toys 'R' Us Endor Pilot pack finally yesterday. Along with another Rebel Fleet Trooper. I was looking back at my 2011 Great Collector's Challenge list and noticed I bought my first Fleet Troopers over a year ago. It is ad that I have bought every RFT I have seen at retail and have a massive army of six troopers...

It really does say a lot about distribution and case ratios lately when a figure that has been out for over a year can still feel so new.

I've knocked back more than a few car bombs tonight...

It's sad how much the Northwest has dropped off as a Division over the last few years. Vancouver hasn't had much real competition late in the season for the division title for a few years.

I still think the Avs can make a run for the playoffs this year. They did certainly make it a lot harder on themselves with that loss to Columbus though. If they miss the playoffs by a point or two, that will be the game that lost it for them.
