It came back on their web site again. This time I did a store pickup and they magically had it at customer server. Still no where to be found or even tagged in the toy section. They must have these just for web site store pickup only.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: JD Book Club: What Are You Reading Now?
« on: November 9, 2013, 05:18 PM »
Sorry, I haven't been listing my books recently here. I just finished Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Outcast a couple of nights ago. It was fun to get back into a Star Wars book again.

Does a new start for the Galactic Alliance mark the beginning of the fall of the Jedi Order?
After a violent civil war and the devastation wrought by the now fallen Darth Caedus, the Galactic Alliance is in crisis. From all corners, politicians, power brokers, and military leaders converge on Coruscant for a crucial summit to restore order and determine the future of their unified worlds. But even more critical, and far more uncertain, is the future of the Jedi.

In a shocking move, Chief of State Natasi Daala orders the arrest of Luke Skywalker for failing to prevent Jacen Solo’s turn to the dark side and his subsequent reign of terror as a Sith Lord. But it’s only the first blow in an anti-Jedi backlash fueled by a hostile government and suspicious public. Negotiating his freedom in exchange for his exile from the Jedi Order, Luke, with his son, Ben, at his side, sets out to unravel the shocking truth behind Jacen Solo’s corruption and downfall. But the secrets Luke uncovers may bring his quest—and life as he knows it—to a sudden end. And all the while, another Jedi Knight, consumed by madness, is headed to Coruscant on a fearsome mission that could devastate the entire galaxy.

Currently reading Death Masks : The Dresden Files #5. I kind of skipped ahead of Harry Dresden back when I read Ghosts. Now I'm back on track with the series.

Harry Dresden, Chicago's only practicing professional wizard, should be happy that business is pretty good for a change. But now he's getting more than he bargained for: A duel with the Red Court of Vampires' champion, who must kill Harry to end the war between vampires and wizards ...Professional hit men using Harry for target practice ...The missing Shroud of Turin ...A handless and headless corpse the Chicago police need identified ...Not to mention the return of Harry's ex-girlfriend Susan, who's still struggling with her semi-vampiric nature. And who seems to have a new man in her life. Some days, it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. No matter how much you're charging.

Well Amazon still has not processed my order for Mara Jade. They won't give an estimate when the figure will ship. I have a feeling I'll see her warming the pegs around here before they get around to shipping her.

The Original Trilogy / Re: ROTJ Lost Footage?
« on: October 30, 2013, 10:32 AM »
That was neat footage to see. It's amazing how many takes they do to get it just right and how the lines keep changing. It was a little jaring to see Yoda talking and then Oz stop to take a break and see Yoda go completely lifeless. It was like Yoda was alive and then completely dead. I guess that is why Muppet performers always keep the puppet going like they are a real actor even during bloopers or retakes.

How can this be in stock at a certain k-mart store but when you go there it is no where to be found. In fact this k-mart doesn't even have Star Wars shelf space. If I buy it online and pick it up at that store, does that mean they kept it hidden in the back for some scalper friend?

Gosh, I hope she doesn't start to sing in the show. That sounded like they needed some serious sound mixing to pull off that video.

Why isn't that picture in the Top 5 hotties?

Reading her bio, this show is really her first real acting gig. She seems to be a Chinese pop star. I always thought she was a Latina.

What? You didn't enjoy all the zany sound effects in Wall*E ?

Imagine watching that original Star Wars trailer in '76 with that Alien-like sound track and having no idea what this movie was all about. The trailer tells you absolutely nothing about plot. It doesn't look like American Graffiti.

The first thing you see is a girl and some giant dog in a spaceship with space ships flying over another space ship. They are shooting at each other. Then you see a black beach ball with a needle sticking out of it. (some kind of drug reference) The girl looks scared. Shot of some black robot-looking guy. The girl tries to escape but the dog barks at her. Then a guy is shooting the walls while guys in armor try to escape. Then we see a couple of robots named 3-CPO and R2-D2 and a guy in a karate outfit. Then Alec Gensis shows up with a light stick and people duck for cover. Then two kids swing across a casm like it was a pirate movie. Big robot black guy throws another guy against a wall. Scary mummy hits guy with stick! Sword fights. R2 gets sucked up a tube. Monster grabs guy in trash. Monster with gun. R2 falls over. Some guys on alert in a military building. Star Wars words explode.

What the heck was that?

My six year old is obsessed with Yummy Mummy. I told him to never mix his monster cereals. I hear bad things can happen.

Wow! Incredible collection there guys. I've always thought the Indy stuff was really expensive. I only have a Indy figure and the Well of the Souls playset. Make sure you get all the snakes from that set.

I've decided I hate Jett Lucas. I hope he stays far away from anything related to Star Wars.

It's always good to have a reproduction of Vlix considering the high price of the real thing. It fills the spot until you hit the lottery.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Disneyland!

More updates on the possible Star Wars overlay for Disneyland's Tomorrowland. It seems the Astro Orbitor that sits in the front of the land will be moved to the Space Mountain complex. It will sit on top of the Captain EO theater and use the old Starcade upper level as a queue. The PeopleMover tower will become a landing pad for the Falcon. The Falcon will be a walk-thru / meet and greet with Chewbacca.

The Tomorrowland Terrace will be rethemed as the Mos Eisly Cantina.  Maybe it will be enclosed? The Autopia will be torn out and replaced with the moon of Endor. Speeder bikes will leave the Innoventions building and race around that area. There will be a Ewok village with yet another meet and great / walk thru and a restaurant. I guess Endor will have a monorail system since that is staying but hidden behind trees.

All this basically means Tomorrowland is losing one ride (Autopia), gaining a new restaurant/shop and two themed meet&greets.

Envious. I don't have a vintage Rancor for some reason.
