Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Clank's Vintage Customs

Good stuff there. I like the Roron Corobb the best. I noticed your power droid labels are pretty ratty. I can make you new ones if you want.

$5.80 shipping for 5 figures. So $15.80 for 5 endor troopers with beard. The non beard version costs $8 instead of $2. I didn't know the non beard version with rarer.

I was just about to buy this when I remembered that I just bought all that stuff to make casts. I think its still going to be cheaper to buy from than making casts. I've boughten from them before. Good service and fast shipping.

That's a good idea starkid. I like the use of the cloud car pilot with the "Rykrof" head. Did you do anything else to the figure besides a head swap?

He goes by murderweapon over at RebelScum and CommandoCustoms.

Back to topic, my Rykrof is almost done. I just need to add some detailing and give him a "Chewie-style" wash. Hopefully you won't be able to tell the difference between them. Maybe I'll have time for a second one.

Yah, I don't think I want to wait days for this stuff to harden. I think I'll follow as closely as possible your tutorial over at ironcow.

MurderWeapon, I'm sorry for getting mad at you.

Yah, that does look better. She looks thinner now. Before she kind of reminded me of one of Lucas's daughters.

MurderWeapon, the time to come up with suggestions is not in the middle of the assigned project. Do it when we are looking for suggestions not after everything has been decided.

Ok. The stuff I got from Michaels is Castin' Craft Mold Builder - Liquid Latex rubber. I guess you are suppost to put on layer after layer of this stuff. The casting resin I have is Castin'Craft Clear liquid plastic casting resin. I also have the catalyst for this stuff. Should I go with this stuff or something else?

Thats a great tutorial Greg. I'm going to follow it and ask lots as questions when the twins arrive from jedijaybird. I know the local Michaels really doesn't have those brands of silcone rubber compound. In fact, they don't have much of anything. I did buy some silcone rubber and some casting  material and activator. I'll have to check what stuff I have. Where do you buy your materials?

I never though that she looks like 6. Maybe its time for a BG figure of 6 in one of her sexy dresses.

MurderWeapon, why do you always want to make something completely different from the focus of these threads?  >:( Why not just make the figure and start you own thread to show it.

I have the perfect idea for this custom and it will take me about a minute to make.

Looking at the vintage picture of hammerhead, have you ever noticed that Hasbro has never made him in that outfit or with those arms?
