That is a very cool radio man! I like the rollup cott he carries and the radio backpack. The Plo Koon-like guy is got to be one of your best. I can see how you think he has zombie skin. He's not a guy I would like to meet in a dark alley.

Thanks In Rem. He's a pretty easily figure to do. Now I got to work on my Tonnikas. ;D

I don't think its the camera. It might be the computer's USB ports that might be a little messed up. It might be because of a virus or spyware. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling your USB ports but I don't think that will work.

Is this computer fairly new (less than a year old)? I'm assuming your, plugging in the camera then turning the camera on. I would highly recomend a external media card reader instead of downloading directly from the camera. It's faster and you can use those cards for mp3s and other files. Its like have a little floppy disc.

Typically every year to year and half, I back up all my data, format the hard drive and reinstall Windows and its application again. This keeps things running quickly and keeps all my devices working correctly.

During the year, I always run new virus scans and antispyware software at least one a week. I also run Norton WinDoctor at least once a month to clean out garbage. I don't liet my wife install software without my knowledge. I give her lower access rights because I'm the guy that has to fix it if problems occure. I also empty the web browser cache. These are things people should do but typically never do. You wouldn't believe how much faster a computer is after a reinstall.

What operating system are you using? When you plug the camera into the USB port, does it show up as a removable drive? Are you able to pug other USB devices into that port and have them work? Did you install any of the software that came with the camera? One thing I do is not use the camera's software but the camera download wizard that comes with Windows XP.

A suggestion is to buy a USB memory card reader. That way, you just take your media card out of the camera and plug it into the card reader. Then it doesn't matter what camera software you use. They are about $10 and nice to have around for PDAs and video cameras that use memory cards.

This is a custom I've been wanting to do for a very long time. When I say Jango Fett had a flame thrower on his gauntlet, it reminded me of the vintage Boba Fett cardback. I've tried to make it as close as possible to the original cardback.

You poor man. It's bad enough hearing about monthly periods but you have to hear ALL the gory details.

That's it! No more porn for you!

Our own Glassman did a great Fox helmet for me.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Phalanxx's Customs - Clone War Jedi

I commented about Aayla Secura and Saesee Tiin over at CC. That is a very cool simple design for obiwan. The cape makes him very dynamic looking. Like the colors you chose for Ki Adi Mundi. The ATRT pieces really go well with the rest of the figure.

When is someone going to fix FFURG's forum?

Chewie, would you object if I mad my own Rykrof figure?

6073
Really?! COOL! Thanks Santa Greg! :D

Aah, my daily update of Chewie's figures. It's just great to sit down first thing in the morning with a cup of orange juice and see what new toys Chewie made last night.

It's neat to see the use a different head for the clone commander. The Typho head is very believable alternative to Jango. I wonder if clones are allowed to change their hair styles and such. You must have found a sale on imperial officer bodies. It's amazing how well that body works in so many different configurations.

The Emporer is very cool. I like how you made the entire robe black. That is what I didn't like about the other versions. The color wasn't uniform. He's very dynamic.

Good idea to use the poncho on old Rykrof. Is this a entirely new figure or just the addition of the accessories? How many Rykrofs have you made so far?

Customs Community and Group Projects / Re: Quittin' RS Customs Board

Wow! How did I miss this thread? I guess I've been too busy at work to keep up. Anyway, I've decided that I will no longer post my customs at RS. The only people that comment on them there are basically members of this board. So why make you comment on the same thing twice?

I really love the sense of community we have round here. It reminds me of the old days Jesse James talks about on the old Forgotten Force Customizing ListServer. I really miss those emails of look what I just made. It was there that I saw my first painted R2 figure and thought that was so cool that someone painted him red. I had to get into this so I painted up a vintage death star droid to be movie accurate. It was also a great place to trade and get to know so many people. Heck, we didn't need ebay back then. We traded fodder and showed our results. It was fun seeing the legs I traded used on a new figure.

JD has a great store watch forum. Our southern California thread holds semi monthly meetings of collectors at different locations. We get together and have lunch and trade items we found. It would be great to do such a thing in the customizing section. It really promotes a sense of community. I also like how we stick up for each other when attacked at RS. This is just a really good place to be.

Now, I've found there are other smaller boards that have multiple custom sections such as marvel super heroes and GI Joe. Its fun to see what people can do outside of star wars. Heck, have you seen glassman's marvel superheros? Very cool!  Commando Customs one such site. They seem to have a completely different group of people there. They're GI Joe section is amazing!

Anyway, I'll continue to post comments over at RS but not new work. There are just too many sites I've found and I see the feedback over at RS to be the least helpful. I think the only moderator over at RS that's decent is Dan Curto. I think he's just too overwhelmed what with work, family, the custom alliance and the news postings to keep things under control over there. I wish the other moderators would help him more. Oh well.

By the way, when is someone going to fix the FFURG forum? It's been down all week!
