Well according to Bob Iger, they want to do it big and right. That is why Hollywood Studios is getting a make over along the lines that DCA got a couple of years ago.

The Disneyana boards talk about this stuff constantly. They are pretty much "Not In My Theme Park" camp. They pretty much hating anything Star Wars, Marvel, Muppets, ride replacement or anything new in general.

It looks like Disney Hollywood Studios in WDW will get a large Star Wars land where their recently closed Tram Tour was. The current rumor is Disneyland will be loosing it's Toon Town and Big Thunder Ranch area to Star Wars.

For years they were in my vintage Star Wars and Darth Vader cases. Now they reside in my Ikea display case.

You lucky dog! I wish I had one.

Here is a set of custom figures that Activision should have marketed for each of their games for the Atari 2600.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Disney Buys LFL

Remember anything that Iger says is prewritten by the marketing department. Disney's marketing department can be pretty crappy at times. Look how they handled John Carter. Their marketing on Frozen was terrible and it totally caught them off guard that people responded to the movie despite awful  ads were we were convinced that Olfe was the next Jar Jar.

>>Ree Yees and Doallyn dude aren't exactly flying off the pegs

Really? Never saw either figure at retail anywhere where I live. Both figures are routinely on amazon for $20 or more. On ebay they are hugely over priced.

The table is always full of people building them but how many people actually buy one is probably pretty low. I do see a lot of kids running around with the build your own lightsabers instead. They are usually hitting people as they have sword fights in the walkways.

They have a two pack clam case and one pack case. Measles are sold out but you can get an extreme case of gas from the Churros.

Prices when up on the black series stuff at Disneyland. 3" are $15.95 while 6" are $26.95. They have a lot of Yoda and that droid. 6" is mostly Han, Greedo and slave Leia.

It's only in park at the Star Trader. Also Disney just raised the price this week to one for $12.95. 3 for $19.95.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Indiana Jones 5

I see no reason to not use another actor to play Indy. Indy should be treated just like James Bond or Doctor Who and have lots of new movies and adventures. I'd also be for a young version of Han Solo. Sure Harrison Ford was the best Jack Ryan but I'm not sad that we have Chris Pine doing that role now.
