My BC and TJ showed up yesterday when I got home from work.  Both are awesome.  It's a shame a bunch of people missed out on these because of the Man At Arms glitch.  I saw that some people found the DC/MOTU 2 packs at TRU already in Illinois.  There are posts about it at he-man.org.

Bottom line is, they don't care about fixing their problems.  They are too cheap.  The RSOD/WSOD should be fixable with a server upgrade.  But, the site works all but one day out of the month.  The shopping cart problem should likewise be an easy fix for a decent IT person.  They still sell out of new product each month in record time.  They will not change anything until it all blows up in their face, which it will eventually.  Then they have the balls to say they are focusing more on subs.  Great.  How does that help those of us who missed out on that short window last year?  Why don't they offer a six month sub for July to December if they are so horny for subs?  I know I would do it just to avoid the issues on the 15th.

OK, today was my first bad experience.  Got all the way through with Man At Arms, Battle Cat and The Joker and it told me I couldn't proceed because "something" was no longer available...but didn't tell me what.  I went back to the offer page and it said everything was still available.  The short of it - after several tries, lots of waiting for the server and trial and error I finally got Battle Cat and The Joker.  But that was after sitting on the final screen for over 20 minutes.

Even better - I decided to go back to the main page and saw that Man At Arms was still available.  :|  I thought what the hell, I'll try to order it again.  Sure enough it went through.  So even with the discount code I ended up paying a total of $12.85 shipping for all three items.  >:|

John

Man At Arms was the culprit most likely.  He was the figure giving me the same problem you described.  I also had to place two orders to get my stuff.  I ended up with 2 BC, 2TJ, 2MAA and an order of stands.

The only figure I don't care for is 3PO.  I want the others.

Vinyl cape and soft goods versions of Jawas would be great.

The whole game thing really bothers me.  It just reinforces my theories that children lo longer know how to "play."  Children are starting organized sports, and video games, at such an early age these days, that they no longer know how to play in an unstrcutured, open-ended scenario.  With sports, and video games, the goal is clear and simple; win.  But when they pick up toys, they don't know what the goal is. . It's really sad, and I've made sure that my boys (3 1/2 and 5) get plenty of unstructured play time.

I haer you on that.   My four year old loves video games, but we also find time to play with his Imaginenext Batman stuff and some of my old school Star Wars stuff.  My 18 month old also joins in.
For those looking for coverage of other lines, toynewsi usually has pretty good photos.

They are repacks.  The price is supposed to be $29.99.  DC Comics Presents was a solid title back in the day.  The HM/Supes pack makes sense but I don't recall Batman meeting Skeletor ever.

Yeah, the Twins have Harris, but Gardy's "special little buddy" will most likely start at third.  I see Harris backing up 2nd short and 3rd.  Hopefully not, though.  Casilla is probably through with the team.  I'd like to see him and Perkins dealt for something.

My prediction - this is tough

Zam Wesell
Padme (Outland Disguise)
Anakin Skywalker (SA new) - why not they redid Bespin Luke
Clone Trooper (SA new) - SA hips and removable Helmet
SA Barriss Offee
Cliegg Lars
Obi-Wan Kenobi (TLC repack)
Jango Fett (evoutions repack w/ corrected blue jumpsuit)
Count Dooku (evoutions repack)
Mace Windu (Geonsis 2pack repack)
Super Battle Droid  (repack)
Plo Koon (repack)

I would be down with this wave except throw in an Arena Padme.

Nice pickup by the Twins.  Now the lineup only has one hole, at third, because Punto will probably be there.  I think they can go deep into the playoffs if people stay healthy.

So the sale is now Feb 16 rather than the 15th and subscribers get $8.00 off BC?  They should offer a half year subscription at this point.  I'd do it just to avoid the RSOD which will probably only get worse now that people know Mattel has idiots running the MOTUC toyline.  Apparently they can't figure out that increasing production on a hot item will make them more money, which is the goal of a company not run by morons.

I liked how Hurley is lucky and not cursed in the LA X universe.  Makes sense that Desmond is on that plane.  The island is at the bottom of the sea and Penny probably never was born if Widmore was on the island when it went down.  And speaking of nice boobies, Penny is also on Flash Forward and looking good there.
