Kubricks / Series 5
« on: July 24, 2005, 05:16 AM »
Just to clarify an earlier question . . . The original 'vintage' 400% Boba (Bounty Hunter exclusive) retailed for the same as the new ESB version is gonna go for . . . 6,090 Yen!

The TRU 2 set is kinda lame . .  . they did the same repaint deal with a couple of Marvel sets last year . . . . it always feels like a 'filler' until the next proper series is launched! It's a bit of a let down when the first TRU set was made up  of such cool characters.

Gotta buy 'em though!  ;D

WTF! Do the heads swap on the SW 'unbreakable' range . . . I always thought they were fixed!

EDIT: OK  . . . just realised heads on same bodies, just hats and hair swaps . . .doh!

Jeez! These guys are tripping themselves over left, right and centre!  ???

Ain't no way I'm buying until a few more are listed and some kinda idea of the ratios are established!

I'd hate to put down $200 for the Luke/Han chases to find 'em at $40-50 a pop in a week or so!  ::)

What gives! . . . a bunch of responses about the 'pipedreams' of a Jabba the Hutt set and no-one has mentioned a Slavegirl Leia!  ;D

ks like this auction was the steal so far, at just $114.50, including shipping.  Not bad.  Another one ended at $99, but with $23 shipping.

That's the one I picked up . . . only $26.00 EMS shipped to the UK!  I guessed most of you guys avoided it because the picture in the listing showed a slightly damaged box (no biggie, my main concern was the Kubes), but when it turned up the box was in A1 condition . . . . result!

Looking forward to checking out the series 4 chases!  :)

Thanx for the clarification HNGTMD. That's a whole bunch of overs to get rid of, but I guess the price of the chases makes it worth the hassle!

Shipping over to the UK on a consignment that size would be the killer though  :-\

. . . I would have gotten my master case of series 3 for around $355 shipped . . .

Just curious  . . . is a master case the 12 piece pack (with no guarantee of getting chases) or a larger unit?

This is just the initial 500 right? . . . can anyone confirm when the other 1504 will be released?

Apologies if it's been covered but 60 pages is a whole bunch to wade through! :)

Hello everyone.  Just posted about 15 new custom Star Wars kubricks.  Let me know what you think.  Tony
Awesome! . . . I hope Medicom see 'em . . . it might kick 'em up a gear on the next series. A box set of Cantina aliens (or a complete series like the Bounty Hunters Series) would be cool!   :)

Cheers DSJ, thanks for the confirmation! Might just make do with a custom for display purposes  :)

Why they haven't release a  standard Stormtrooper yet is beyond me . . . the moldings all done . Medicom should just bang 'em out and skip the orange distressing!
