Possible shill bidder, maybe the same person. I have seen this sellers before but the search engines on some sites just plain suck!  :-\

Also was know as sjsandjsh, why does that name ring a bell.  ???

Yes, very shady seller going back several years.
He is always selling his crappy restoration projects.

See the following threads on  **memorabilia**

It's possible that it's a legit prototype, but there are fakes out there.
I would need to know a little more background on this piece before buying it.

Texas Hold em has taken over my social life.
My friends and I used to play a lot of video games and watch movies and stuff.  Now, it's all poker, all the time.

Last night, I hit a Jack high straight flush, which is officially the best hand I've ever had!
Best part is- I went all in after the river, and someone called with a straight!
He wasn't too happy to see my cards.   ;D

HAN HOTH + ESB 48 back + unp clear + Star Wars + AFA 95

I tell you what; the day I spend $2500 on a Star Wars toy is the day I add something very rare to my collection ... not a common production figure.

Mine would be a double telescoping vintage luke in kenner baggie.

Getting ready to send it to AFA for grading and authentication.

I really hope you're kidding.

RS has had a few technical difficulties, and there is a 5 page thread here.
Pretty good for a webisite that so many people hate.

Vintage Kenner / Re: can a non DT figure have an "A" type cardback
« on: August 17, 2005, 01:06 PM »
Is it possible that an original non-telescoping figure could have a telescoping firgure cardback?

Absolutely.  Carded DT sabers are wicked rare, but many many figures can be found on 12a backs, including Luke/Ben/Vader with regular sabers.

Great bootlegs, John!

Here are a couple of my Kenner baggies, one heat sealed and one tape sealed.

Holy crap, that is an insane price to pay for a sandcrawler.
And it's not even the ESB version.  Crazy.

Joe's Uzay run is stunning.  It's easily one of the most impressive collections ever assembled IMO.

I believe it is irresponsible to make high quality fakes without any markings to distinguish them from the real thing.

Many people do not agree with me, but I am thinking in terms of what's best for the hobby.
Someone, somewhere down the line will try and sell one of these fakes as a legit piece.  It has already happened with m. poon's Fetts.
The fact that Mark himself isn't ripping people off does not make him immune to criticism.

Collectors will get ripped off because of these items, and that is not good for the hobby.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: If You Lost Your Collection....
« on: July 6, 2005, 04:49 PM »
If my modern collection went up in smoke, I honestly wouldn't be too disappointed.
My insurance would cover replacement costs for everything (i.e. retail value), which is more than it's worth if I were to sell it.
Plus, I have completely lost interest in all modern toys.  :(

Vintage is a different story.
I'd re-collect, but my approach would be very different.  I'd use the insurance money to acquire very rare and unique items, rather than going on a carded figure spending spree.

You have got to be ******* kidding me!

Custom Vintage Star Wars Droids Brazil Glasslite Vlix

Thats just ridiculous.

:-[ I was watching this, but the guy ended the auction early. Vlix

The seller claimed he sold it for $1400.
Either he's an idiot for selling it at such a low price, or he's a scammer and he doesn't even have the item (pic looks stolen).

It looks like Mark Poon found some time to make a Vlix.
It must have been hard to fit that in his busy schedule of making repro 21 back Fetts.
