I would have to agree with the mock up theory for the pilots, but with a $45.00 price point, maybe they are specific to the ship?

I didn't order the hoth wave, but I did recently order some figures from them. All 4 came together.

This is the best wave of figures in a long time, if you are an ESB fan. I wish they would have revisited Leia hoth while the opportunity was there.

I find myself clearly leaning toward the dark side- Everything I have bought to open has been an imperial, with the exception of the Hoth gonk droid. So I have 9 imperials and a Han.

I love that Hoth wave.

I have Fett with Fett from Carkoon.

At-AT driver x 5
Veers x 4
Snowtrooper x 3
new gonk x 2
1 each of the rest of the wave

Geonosis- I wanted to pass on the bugs, but they were the only guys on the pegs today, and they looked really good. So I have a Sun Fac and Poggle from that wave.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: What figures do you display twice?

Imperial officers are always worth a couple, just because they blend in to the background nice with groups of troops. I have 6 of the POTJ officer, 3 Ozzels, 2 Pietts, and 3 saga veers. The stormtrooper utility belt that came with the saga Target accesory packs actually looks pretty good on the black uniformed POTJ officer.
Ditto for imperial astromechs. 3 R4-19's, 2 R2-Q5's, and 5 R4-M9's scurrying about.
The deeper we get into the line though, the more likely we are to have multiples loose whether we like it or not. The multipacks and case assortments that include previous issues with new figures will soon have us all swimming in that hoth darth mold. Is this the 4th time it's been used now, only a couple years after it came out?

Clones are hot in general though. When they can repaint them and sell them as exclusives for 13-15.00, they know it's a safe bet to put some more out there. Unfortunately, "opportunists" already haunting the toy aisles also recognize this.

Wow, first time I have ventured into this thread, and... wow. These are some great looking set-ups, and Jay you are a damn action-figure artist. Very impressive...

Anyone heard any new news regarding the Tauntaun statue? I thought it was a February release, but I haven't seen anything in a while-

That darn Rancor looks superb! I wonder if a bantha is far behind. They (Gentle GIant seem to do the beasts as well as you could ever ask-

It is a let-down to not see something for this line at Toy fair. I don't know about your areas, but here in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, the small unleashed sit and sit and sit. Some of them even look pretty cool, but I'm not plopping $10.00 on them , and it appears others are feeling the same way.

I would like to see some more attention paid to this line by Hasbro. This is a great introductory product for younger kids, it makes collectors pay attention, and it has that super two-punch of small product/reasonbable price. Imagine if that shelf space for choppers and battlers were dedicated to some ships and playsets for these guys. The current lines are making stocking the shelves one of the easiest jobs on the planet (nothing moves).

Gentle Giant / Re: Gentle Giant Busts
« on: February 20, 2006, 08:27 AM »
That line of 2006 mini-busts looks fantastic, and I am disappointed I will not be going to any conventions to snag a shocktrooper.
As much as I like this line, the size makes it difficult to collect and display. I have about 15 pieces, but they are mostly exclusives and troops, and I will try to keep with that theme for whatever I do pick up.

Gentle Giant / Re: Gentle Giant Bust Ups!
« on: February 20, 2006, 08:22 AM »
Yeah, I went into 2006 pretty sure the bust up line was going to low priority in my collection. But it is hard to resist good prducts at reasonable prices. As a bonus, they take up less space than many other items as well. The line-up looks very good this year indeed, but I will have to resist the urge to get the mini-busts. They take up too much room to display!

Can someone give me the 30 second version of how to post a pic?
