Hasbro must have thought that everybody was going to need at least 5 Pilots to fill their gunships and ARC-170's.

Just imagine the kid then turning the corner and saying to his dad, "Look Pop, another 41 clone, now we have 2 squads".

No, really though, that was a great thing to do. Sometimes we have to remember that these are just toys and kids are going to enjoy them a hell of a lot more than we are.

I think Sony has lost some credibility now that it's been confirmed that the PS3 "game play" footage that they have been touting from E3 is really pre-rendered movies. It should be remembered that Sony did the same thing before the launch of the PS2. I think it was a little effort to steal some thunder from the Xbox360.

I read somewhere that the entire Nintendo library will be downloadable.  No cartridges needed!  Pretty crazy.  I might just need to get a Revolution just so I can play Mike Tyson's Punch-Out again.  Little Mac RULES!!
At the Nintendo press conference they did say that indeed the entire Nintendo library from the NES to the N64 will be available for download. I must say that's a brilliant move by Nintendo. I just wonder what the pricing will be.

I just hope the Cell lives up to it's hype and not crap out like the PS2's "emotion engine". Remember that propaganda? I seem to remember Sony touting that as a super computer on a chip so powerful that its importation into certain countries had to be restricted for nation security reasons, yada yada yada yip yip hurray.  ???

The only problem is that by the time a television displaying at 1080p is available at an affordable price the PS4 will be making its debut. Don't get me wrong, I'll definately be buying a PS3 along with a Xbox360 but the whole dual HDTV screen and 1080p thing will be pretty useless for this generation of consoles.

Just announced at E3, Xbox360 will be backward compatible!

I don't think backward compatibilty is that much of an issue. I think I may have played a PS1 game once on my PS2. Once you get spoiled by the upgrade in graphics most people have a hard time going back to their old consoles. It would be a nice feature but I think the number of people that would not buy the console because of this lack of feature is miniscule.

I have to admit the screaming punks on Live are a problem. I don't hesitate to send negative feedback regarding those who do it. But the incredible fun of getting into a game with a good group of players more than makes up for the bad experiences for me.

At 30 bucks I think I'll pass on this one. I saw it this morning at TRU and wasn't very impressed. Down the road if i see it on clearence for 15 or 20 bucks maybe I'll pick it up.

I think MS is pushing pretty hard to make the Xbox360 backward compatible from what I've read. They seem to talk a lot about playing Halo on the new system so I'm figuring they will either have the rumored Halo 2.5 ready with the systems release or have it backward compatible, or maybe both. In any event I've been a video game nut since Pong and the Atari 2600 days. There's no way I'll be missing this one on release day.

Yes, the alternate ending is great. Then the bonus level where you fight as Vader against Obi-Wan on the Death Star was a nice surprise. Overall the game was very short but fun. I'd give it a 7/10 on the low end of the 7.

There are a lot of idiots out there on Xbox Live to be sure. But for every bad game I've had, I've had 10 that were great. Over all I love it, I think it's just a matter of adding the right people to your friends list.

Personally I usually don't buy more than 2 of the same figure at a time if there are only 4 or 5 of them . There have been many occasions that I have grabbed all 4 or 5 figures just to keep them away from the Hot wheels guys or scalpers that are hanging around, then after they leave put them back. You can always tell who is a real collector by the fact that when they have multiples of a figure they will always part with 1 or 2 to help out a fellow collector. Its those @$#&!% scalpers that have loads of figures and just ignore everybody. So in conclusion, army building is not bad.
