I went to probably 10 sites last night searching for backgrounds.  I think this is the one that had that pic - http://www.planit3d.com/

 :)

Chewie,

I do that all the time, but haven't found much to use lately.  What are your fav sites??

Which Padme??

Very, very cool custom.  Excellent job.  Love the look of this guy.  Great backstory, too.

I like this update, but i don't like the conversation about the Kamino clones, it's too much.  The older version was a little more subtle, more effective.

Modern Classifieds / FREE stuff! Seriously!!!

Okay, folks, it's time to play "Who Wants Free Stuff?"!!

I'm just trying to get rid of a few things I don't need.  Any takers?  This stuff will be absolutely free, minus a small fee for shipping (probably $2).

Basically, for right now, I'm trying to get rid of some figure "extras" that I don't need and won't end up using.

I would prefer to get rid of these in large lots, as it doesn't make much sense to try to mail these tiny individual pieces.

HOLOGRAM LOT:

Boba Fett x2
Count Dooku x2
Vader x3
Luke x3
Stormtrooper x3
Sidious/Emperor x1
Yoda (blue version, not silver) x1
Darth Maul x1

STANDS LOT:

Green & brown ROTS woods/swamp stand x2
ROTS blue & gray "hallway" stand x2
square, interlocking "Star Wars" stands (from OTC line?) x3
assorted Saga Collection stands with various character names x15

I also have a few figures I no longer need.  Mostly figures that have been upgraded.  Don't want your kids smashing your precious "Evolutions" Vader?  Why not give 'em one of these:  (Please note figures do not come with accessories)

POTF2 1995 Vader (buff arms)
Saga Vader w/ removable helmet
Dagobah "spirit" Vader - (slightly damaged - head doesn't stay on tight due to missing neck piece.)
POTF2 Vader with cloth cape (hands on his hips version - came with interrogation droid.)

POTF2 "salt shaker" style Imperial guards x2

I may add more things as I go through my collection, so stay tuned!!!

wow, Findswoman, another pair of great customs!

That Wiorkettle is one damn strange looking character!  Who designed that card?  Great execution of the character, but it does look a bit goofy.  :)

and the Sheltay Retrac is EXCELLENT!  Another stellar job with the soft goods!  Really, really great!

My only small complaint is still my strong dislike of most POTF2 Leia heads, especially those obnoxious-looking celebration ones.  but that's hardly your fault.  The craftsman ship is really first rate, a wonderful job all around.  My only suggestion would be the same one I gave to johnboy - a pilot Padme head instead of the POTF2.  but I certainly am aware that it's not always feasible to find whatever parts you want whenever you want them.

I enjoyed the first short chapter, but I am not sure I like how you're narrating it.  The trooper describing everything that happened to him in the past tense.  It's an odd style, I think you should switch to present tense.

That said, I like the custom, I like the images.  Despite the minimalist nature of your sets, I think this has the potential to be a very intriguing story.  As Longhorn as shown us, you don't need great FX or dioramas to make a compelling story.  The images in the first chapter, I think, are quite good.

Please keep at it, as I am very eager to see more. I would try to tweak the writing just a bit, though.  i do like the characterization of the insecure Clone.

Awesome chapter, In Rem!  My notes are a bit short (as it's a short chapter), but I loved it!!

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!!

Sekto, uh, I mean Commander Gunray is quite the formidable foe!

A very intriguing chapter!  I love the ominious shot of what is presumably the new IG style battle droid he is developing!

A great chapter, albeit one that is largely set-up.  I hope that Gunray is a recurring villain in the story, he's very cool!   Sharp dialogue, lovely images and, as always, stellar characterizations.

Keep these coming!!!!

It's been a while since we've had an update, so I thought I'd chime in with a few more specific comments.

as always, Longhorn, this is a terrific, terrific series.

A few thoughts -

Chapter 31 - You do such a great job with the established SW characters that I can hear the actors' voices in my head.  Another great job.  Even your talky scenes are great fun.  And all of these moments dovetail very nicely into the established lore of the films. They really do feel part of the "canon".

Tiny, tiny nitpick - I had trouble with Palpatine saying "Sure!" to Anakin in response to the discussion about leading the 501st.  seems like he'd say something like "Certainly" instead.  "Sure" sounds too informal for the chancellor.

Chapter 32 - Wow, I can't tell you how much I love this scene!  The briefing is just awesome in every way.  I love the rows of seats, seeing all those clones together, the Jedi off to the side.  Gree is fantastic!  I love the fact that we're seeing a high ranking clone plan and brief everyone about a mission.  Simply wonderful on all levels.  And the brief anakin/obi wan dialogue is great, too, showing the humor and banter that we got to see only too briefly in ROTS and, to a much lesser extent, AOTC.

The shot of the rancor in the cage is excellent.  Very frightening, it has a very creepy, monster-movie feel to it.

So many of the shots in this scene are extremely well-composed.  The shots of Gree briefing, Gree talking to Cody, over Gree's shoulder, etc.  You turn a simply talking scene into a visual triumph.  Subtle, but very, very effective.

The Cody business is similarly great.  You really have a wonderful gift for dialogue.  the scene crackles with humor and the characterizations are spot on.  I continue to be amazed with your writing.  "Try not to shoot him by accident."  Great!!  :)

That's all for now.....boy, after re-reading this, I am REALLY excited for the next few chapters.  Keep 'em coming!!

That Mandalorian remains awesome and the diorama you're building looks friggin' fantastic!  Can't wait to see it come together.  Where are those parts from?   I must know!

164
I can't believe you wasted a cool "Dark Empire Luke" body on "Background filler"!!!  I love the ribbed shirt torso!  Damn you!

The Rodian is AWESOME.  That new hammerhead body looks terrific, I haven't seen the Tatooine wave yet, alas.

Borocca.  Nice to see him again.  Too bad he won't be too long for this world.  His head looks just SLIGHTLY on the small side for his massive body.  But still great work all around!

Findswoman is the absolute best.  We've traded several times and she is a joy to deal with, EXTREMELY fast with her deliveries and an all around swell gal.
