My Target stocked new SW/BSG today as well.  Finally picked up the Battlestar Pegasus.  They also had the Firespray fighter (Slave I repaint), Luke's Snowspeeder and Jabba's Sail Barge which were all newly stocked.  Before that, a few weeks ago, they got in the V-Wing wave but they've only had about 3 waves this year.

My WM hasn't stocked new Titanium since the middle of 2005.  Well, they might have gotten a couple cases at the beginning of last year but that's it.  They still have all their 2005 stock and it was a really bitch when I watched 2 year old stock get bumped up a $1 in price late last year.

Since I posted earlier I got around to opening that Bumblebee Titanium and although it looks good, I was disappointed to find out how little metal there was in it.  Honestly, if Mattel can do $1 Hot Wheels I expect more from Hasbro in the Titanium lines for $4 more.

I found the 3" Titanium movie vehicles at Target tonight.  Prime, Blackout and Bumblebee.  I snagged 'Bee and that was it.  Hadn't seen these before.

That's not a bad looking set.

My Wal-Mart won't carry Star Wars exclusives, Vintage TAC, vehicles or new Titanium.  If they get these figures in I'm going to be severly pissed off.

Ah, gotcha.  Yeah, when they finish off characters from a line like that and they're exclusive and expensive it's kind of a kick to the nads.  Especially fan club prices.

The Joe figures have always been high as well and, honestly, a couple years the souvenirs have been as good as or better than the boxed set and you can't get those unless you go to the show.  Like I said, last year I bit.  The Fight for Survival set is incredible and, of course, I had to add on the additional 3 sled dogs and loose figure which made the whole thing over $300 shipped.

The RAH sets usually run about $220 or $250 without any of the extras and that's still about $15 per figure, but that's better than $50+ per figure.

It's definitely cheaper to sit home and order the SW exclusive McQuarrie figures this year that's for sure.

Yeah, I did forget they've got a lot on their plate. I've been pretty ARGH-HASBRO SUCKS-GRR since this year's Botcon exclusives were announced.

It's kind of dumb to expect to find the new Bumblebee since he's only been seen since Saturday. But the Joe thing is really starting to get under my skin.

What did they do for a BotCon exclusive that pissed you off?

I know the Club always does some awesome stuff for their Joe con and last year they even got me to lay out $300 for their 12" Adventure Team Exclusive.  This year's 12" set is cool but not my thing.  The 3.75" set this year, I'd love to pick up the female Cobra troops but I don't think I'll buy the set.  Actually, I haven't really been that interested in the RAH sets since the first one they did with the crimson Baroness and troops.

It's months like these I ******* despise Hasbro. Can't find the Joes, can't find the TFs, I can't wait until wave 4 of the 30AC comes out so I can lose out on that.

You know, I'm sure Hasbro uses different factories for different lines they put out, but if you look at this spring Hasbro had to ramp up for movies for Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man and Transformers as well as get out waves of Marvel Legends, SW 30th and GI Joe 25th.  When do you guys remember Hasbro having so many irons in the fire at one time?

Nearly an entire side of an aisle at Target is Hasbro product right now between the Marvel license, SW and Transformers.  I just wonder if that has anything to do with some of the delays in new product hitting the shelves?  Granted, they didn't do huge lines for Ghost Rider or F4 and I think they've only done 2, maybe 3, waves of ML but their Spider-Man and Transformer lines have been huge.

I'm thinking that when the Transformer movie hype dies off a little towards the end of the month we'll start seeing better stock of that line as well as seeing the SW waves start hitting with a little more frequency.

Go get Ironhide!  It was the first one I picked up, as I mentioned, and it's a pretty awesome piece.

I also snagged a deluxe Barricade on Saturday while it was on sale at Target.  Still no sign of the '08 Bumblebee though.

The CIV sets were going around a Grand before and during the con and have dropped to $800 or less now.  I'd hold out, I don't think they'll stay that high but I think they will be somewhat higher than the US versions just because they'll be selling them in Pounds or Euros and the exchange rate sucks right now.

My Luke medallion came yesterday along with a bonus piece, an R2-D2 test medallion.  Here's a photo of the set and the R2:

Time to order up a display case for them now.

One thing that I found interesting on those new Basics vehicles is that they used both a motorcycle and a fast attack vehicle in the film and these vehicles are out there.  Not having followed the TF line I'm not that familiar with what vehicles are represented in the toy line already but I wonder if Bay and the producers looked and then used vehicles in the film that they could easily adapt toys for as well as include as robots in a sequel?

As for Ironhide, after I played around with him more last night I got so I could transform him in a few minutes rather than the hour it took the first time.  I still have problems with the center part putting him back into Topkick mode but other than that I really like it.

Well, I broke down today and finally bought a Transformer figure from the new movie.  I picked up an Ironhide which I'd been looking at since the movie hit last week.  Plus it was on sale at Target.

Pretty nice figure.  Took me almost an hour to transform him to robot mode and back the first time, though.  I have no idea how kids do it!  I think if I was 10 or so I'd have the thing in pieces the first time and that would be it.

Still holding out for the modern Camaro Bumblebee before I pick up another, though.  I'll probably also get either Barricade or Blackout...probably Barricade to go with Bumblebee.

Target also had some new sets today marked with an exclusive tag.  They had Arcee, Hard Top and one other one.  I hadn't seen them before.

I just finished my set of medallions (final one is in the mail now) and am psyched to get a case for them.  I managed to pick up 6 at the convention and the others through some good deals.

The pre-production pieces that they have on the archive are cool.  I'm pretty sure someone had some of the pre-produciton pieces at CIV, I think I saw them during the collector's social hour but didn't get a close look.

As cool as the CE medallions look I don't think I'll try for a set of those.  I have a feeling they may be much more expensive than the US versions were but, cost aside, I don't have the nostalgia for the foreign pieces as I do for the US set and that was part of what made them interesting to me.

That's exactly why I rarely post on the GG boards, I've never posted if I'm a PG member or not and would never post if I won a raffle or not.  I don't want my name showing up on some list or petition that might be assembled during one of the witch hunts.  I don't want people speaking for me, especially someone on a forum that I've never even met in person.
