The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Tauntaun and Hoth Han

Is there a slit in the belly?  Kind of looks that way, but could be wrong.  This Tauntaun better smell as bad on the inside as on the outside.

Not cut belly for the tauntaun.  The live tweeting from the session confirmed that.

Thanks for the heads-up, Nick.

I'll buy all but the clone... but nice.  I wonder if Bossk can put a finger on the trigger for once.

Blue Coat...are you serious?  Blue coat??

Yep.  My sentiments exactly.  This is supposed to be the definitive line, so why make the 'throwback' jersey first?  That one should be a NYCC or SDCC exclusive instead of Carbonite Han.

And what's up with Darth Luke's face?  I think the PotJ one was a good sculpt

Few exclusives was disconcerting.  No K-Mart sets this year?  Yikes. :(

6" clearly is big for them, and will clearly be big for them.  They expressed how much they liked working on that line, as noted in our coverage on the front page.

1.  That's true, I didn't think of that, Jesse.  The whole lack of a cool exclusive.

2.  I like some of the stuff put out in the 6" line, but to be honest, I think I've bought some that I may return and just stick with the ANH versions of the character, Bounty Hunters or first appearances, etc.  Bespin Luke is nice, but I'd like to have Farmboy instead.  I'm going to keep away from Prequel stuff, though I have an unopened Obi-Wan.  Clones- I'll pass on them.

Currently playing this for the past 2 months.  Interesting, but seems to have to keep up with it.  I'm at the point where it takes days to complete a level (I know, the sphere only gets larger!).  But it seems like the Emperor's missions would get bigger rewards as time goes on, too.

Also, it says to connect to facebook to save the DS (and earn more salvage droids), but when I connect, it's rarely there to save.

Yep, if you talk the talk, you damn sure gotta walk the walk.  ;)

I can almost feel the gentle breeze from the backpedalling now...

What if I've already evacuated my bowels?  >:D

All I know is, if I don't soil myself badly in the next hour and a half, I am going to feel utterly shortchanged after all these months of excretory anticipation.  :D

If it doesn't happen, it's time for the Ex-Lax, isn't it... after all that we've been saving up for this moment.  ;)

The limbs and head are pretty good with the glow, the chest area isn't as visible but there.  Pretty cool, though.

Haven't tried it yet, but visually he's a vibrant blue.  Icy, but not sure if he's accurate otherwise.

I found some at my b&n so you should be good.

There's also the matter of the Disney store.  Of all brick & mortar retail, they've started to be a go-to destination for Star Wars figures.  And TBS basic figures sell there for $10.99 each.

And $24.99 for 6".

To add to the price issue, and maybe it's proof or maybe it's shooting one's self in the foot, but K-Mart has upped their 6" prices from 19.99 to 21.99 online and in stores.
