Saw it today.  Was pretty intense and cool.  Wow!  There are a few things I'm going to have to look up since I'm not familiar with the comics.

Best line:  "Shall we play a game?"

Will there be a name change?

That is exactly what this show should be, an extension of the films, filling in the gaps in between, etc.

The downside of this is that having too many movie tie-ins could hurt the show because the viewer that didn't see one of the movies is in the dark... or if they saw it, they didn't see it right away.  Not everyone is a die-hard fan that will be out in the theater the first few days after the movie opens, or if they are, they have too many thing going on in life to do so.

I haven't watched the recent episode yet (it's on DVR waiting for me) and I need to go see CA2 yet... so I guess I'm good that I can hold off on any of the SHIELD episodes until I see the movie.  ;D

Gee, that's quite nice of her.  I should try and finish out my vintage collection some day... I'm missing a few... and not overly worried about condition.

Well, we'll see if my order [6" Stormtrooper] with tru.com went through...

Got the Stormtrooper in the mail today, so I should be happy about it, right?  There's black paint just between the eyes under the brim of the forehead.  *face palm*  I guess I'm not sure whether to take off the paint (not sure how to do it without ruining the figure) or look for a good one in stores.

$50 isnt' bad for the cards if it's got all the series and they're in good shape.  The orange series, the last, is one of the hardest to get.  The Wonder Bread ones I've seen listed for @$15.  I wonder if he has the stickers as well?

He's not in stock as of 7:09PM CST.   :(

Well, we'll see if my order with tru.com went through... I know of your experiences with them, Justin, so I know I shouldn't be surprised if it gets cancelled.  But still, I talked to a TRU rep as I ordered who said they were in stock, so CS will get an earful if I don't get one.

I suspect that the Stormtrooper is in-stock at HTS.  "no servers are available to take your request."

That was a messy game last night for the Wild.  Glad to see Oshie get his first hat trick but it's bittersweet when it's against the old home-team.  My daughter was watching it and said that she was rooting for the Blues since she lives in StL now... I ask what happened to the Rangers and she said, "we don't live in NYC" :(

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Black Series Recent Purchases

With the way my local stores are stocked, it might be a long time before I get a new purchase.  Loads of ****-eyed Leias on the pegs that no one is going to buy for $20.  Please, Hasbro, send out the reps and pull these catastrophes off the pegs to get new product on the pegs.

Time for a Relo Steve.

Burnsville, MN??  :P

If you're up for that kind of drive.  I think the Austin MN Target might be closer.   ;)

Actually, I'd probably find the Stormtrooper there (hordes of them) and swap them, drive up your way and share the loot.

I hope that's the case, really.  Having too many villains can dilute the story.  Though interesting that Paul Giamatti would do a quick appearance... though it happened all the time with Mission Impossible movies and Cillian Murphy in the latest Batman trilogy.

I'd vote for Mara too, if you count her with swapped Black Widow head.   ;)

Anything with the likeness of Scarlett would make it a million times better... even Jabba.
