The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Disney Buys LFL
« on: November 22, 2015, 10:02 AM »
That whole droid factory scene is garbage.  It looks like a video game level idea that they decided to put into the movie: jumping, ducking, timing a run with mechanical arms, molders, smashers, cutters, etc.

I'd like to see a Rebels episode where Artoo's rockets get damaged beyond repair.

And it could be as early as next week as the preview seems like it's action packed.  I doubt it but I bet by the end of the season, Ward's gone.

I was thinking it could be Simmons' boyfriend back on the planet as you never see the mysterious guy and the astronaut together.  We hear him calling to Jemma but you never see it.  That could be a twist, especially if Jemma is pregnant with a human-Inhuman hybrid.

Some old 5 POA figures would make great cannon fodder.  Might get lucky enough to kill a few.

I was going to suggest abc.com, but it looks like they don't have S3 E1 or 2 either.  No idea then... hope you find them.

Avoid that EW article/issue.  Some pictures and commentary reveal quite a bit and one has me guessing something about someone.

I'm mostly surprised some kid in my home town is doing a SW podcast and I never even heard of him. It's a pretty small collecting community here, but I guess the younger generation flies under the radar.

At least you know who beat you to that elusive figure now.  :P  I've heard of the Wolfpack, I just assumed he was late 20s-40s.

The Black Series gets mentioned!  But only for the 6" line.  No mention of 3.75" SA line.

Your solution is better than the current way it's run, Justin.  I agree.  1 per person per family if these are indeed a limited run item.

So, Justin, it sounds like next time you should take a day off, take the twins with you and maybe Sara if you can convince her and buy 4.  It does sound rather asinine.

I had heard the lotto being held 12-1 or something along that lines, but know how Target has had the "no helping the scalper" and looking for things in back, yet having new things out at open when most people but scalpers are at work doesn't help.  I wouldn't think noon would be a good time either since that's the lunch hour.  So when would be a good time? 7PM?  I don't know.  Maybe Disney Stores should a deadline where you can submit your name at anytime during the day at the store and then the winners are selected the next day?  Anyone else have a solution?

Yeah, it's really Finn Hood, Willow's son, out to produce the finest ice cream in the galaxy.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: The new TIE Fighters

That's how some have theorized the hue of TIEs changed from ANH to esb.  That the paint had some practical impact.

I always thought the color difference was due to camouflage.  Death Star gray vs space dark blue.

I'd say the simple answer right now is a "solar panel" on a TIE Fighter is not a solar panel on your neighbor's pool heater though, and thus doesn't work the same way, whatever its purpose may be.  And so a white one maybe works as well as a black one, or better even. *shrugs*

yes, but then we know that light colors tends to reflect sunlight where as dark colors absorb it, but I can suspend my disbelief at the door.
