The Legacy Collection / Re: Defender Wishlists 2009: Discussion

I disagree, Jesse. I love the Padmes and really want the Picnic outfit. She's a main character (though downplayed in Sith). I think some of the gowns that were designed for Padme are some of the best... elegant. I guess that's why I want them. But yes, Padme's are not action figures and boys would not want to play with them. There are a lot of Clones figures that need redone, and I agree with you there. Articulation was bare minimum when they were released. Zam is a good one along with Outlander Anakin. I'd love to see those redone. I'm sure they'll get done at some point though, so I'm patient.

Well, they could make a Jedi female (like Sarissa Jeng (sp?)) and I'm sure those would sell decently. And maybe they could make another Padme Evolutions pack? I think those sold well, too.

I haven't watched the Trilogy in a long while either. I think it's due to trying to find a good chunk of time to dedicate to 3+ hours of movie, and that's the theatrical releases that I own. I did borrow the extended versions of the movies and after watching them, those are the better releases as they add much more (in a lot of ways). Now there's a scene that when I watch the theatrical version, it feels like it's lacking, or the editing's off. (When Pippen touches the Palntir??) I can't recall. It's been awhile. I do need to get the extended versions someday soon though.

That's cool, Ryan! I would love to sit and chat with the BSG stars and thank them for doing such an exceptional job on the show and how sad TV is without it now.

Ryan,

You do know that it's ten total, not ten each.  ;)

Sad to see Larry Moss buy it, but I'm thinking it'll open the door for Renee to jump into Jack's bed. I also think that once Jack finds out about Tony's betrayal, he's going to want to be healthy enough to go after him....

Hmm, now that I think about it, when Renee was talking to Larry about Kim, Tony was surprised to hear about Kim. Hopefully, Tony doesn't go after Kim; she's had a messed up life as it is.

Ewoks! Wow! Depending if they throw in a catapult or something like that (glider?), We should have 6 of these Ewoks (unless they throw in Han, Leia, Chewie or someone like that).

***Gets out desktop adding machine***

OK...

$20

+

$7.50 figure

=

$40

I've got a good 8 years of accounting classes under my belt since high school, and I still can't see how that **** adds up.

Here's how it adds up: $20 vehicle + $7.50 fig + $12.50 "Only at TRU" sticker made from diamonds.

Actually, I believe it's more Ticketmasterish. $20 vehicle + $7.50 fig +$.50 exclusive sticker + $8 venue fee + $4 convenience fee (oh, maybe the lube is included as you get anal raped at the register)

HissTank has pictures of a bunch of new movie figures, including Firefly and Barbecue.

Would love to take a closer look at this, but Hiss wants me to sign up.  :-\ I don't collect them, but am interested in seeing what they've come up with.

There's one other non-Jack moment in the last few episodes that slipping my mind as well.

Probably saving that Port Authority guy's ass when he normally would have used the element of surprise to take out the baddies.

I forget who was talking to Jack about losing his wife and Kim a few episodes back and how that affected him (maybe Walker?), but what about losing his brother and father and finding out that they were baddies? That would be upsetting, too.

He's on Obi-Wan's starfighter to Utapau.

I think that's actually R4-G9.

Wow, I'm such a nerd.  :-[

Oops, misread the info on him. While he wasn't on the starfighter (I thought that wasn't right), he was assigned to Obi-Wan's forces to Utapau.

Which movies are those Astromechs from?

R4-P44 is from ROTS (not sure where, I think as an astrodroid for a clone ship)

Looks like Hasbro confirmed to SWAN that the last 4 astromech BADs of the year are going to be R5-H6 & R3-O1, and R4-P44 & R3-A2.

Great choices for the BADs!
