Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Minneapolis Bridge Collapse

A coworker's nephew was on the bridge just before it collapsed. He was literally the last car across. She said he hard a loud bang, like thunder, felt the road move a bit, checked his mirror and the red car that had been behind him had disappeared! Talk about lucky!

Jedijaybird picked up the Sandtrooper today in Minnesota. So they're starting to sprout up.

The freaky thing about the day was after this happened, the sky got murky and brown to the north and then the heavy rains... one of my friends commented that the apocolypse was nigh.

And I thought of The Mothman Prophecies, too. Sadly, this isn't a movie.

That's scary. I managed to call a friend that works at the U and she's okay, plus hearing from most of you Twin Cities guys, so that puts me at ease a bit. But seeing that bridge... that's scary, especially thinking it could be me on some bridge elsewhere. I guess the news reports said 3 out of 4 lanes were closed down due to construction so it could have been a lot worse.

No ****?

The Jedi 2-pack is back up at HTS.com!!  ;D

Now now, no need to be an ass. :P

So I didn't look far enough ahead in the thread. Sue me.

I just look at it as the excitement of finding them again! But it was funny to see how many people repeated it.  ;)

Any sightings of W4 yet?  Its been a real lull around Minneapolis the last month.   :-\

Same here in St. Paul  ;)

Nice.  I bet Minneapolis gets the new stuff first...

I don't know. Eas'siders usually seems to score stuff first... unless Dorito's around.

Gawd, I just can't think of any figs I want to see rereleased again.

It's nice that hasbro is listening to us to this degree. But I too would rather have Willrow Hood or Yarna.

+1. Tired of getting to choose rehashes. Let's pick the new ones.

Nice wave, really. Glad to finally get Po and Imp 2-1B.

As for complaints about bad face sculpts (and I'm one for that, too), just a devil's advocate: As an artist, it's easy to sculpt helmeted characters than a likeness of someone. At least it's been that way for me.

All in all, I was surprised at how well Rowling had tied up alot of things (and people) that I had forgotten about and only wonder whatever happened to that old bat Umbridge.

I thought that, too. There was no mention of her when the Ministry had fallen and she never showed up to the battle. Is it to be presumed that she died along with Scrimegour (sp?) when the Death Eaters took over?

That was a great book. Those that predicted that Harry died were both right... from a certain point of view.  ;) Sad to see Fred die as he was half of the comic duo. I figured that it'd be Charlie, Arthur, or Bill to die in the Weasley family. Glad to see Percy make it back, too. It was also interesting to see that Crabbe and Goyle were no longer Malfoy's flunkies.
