30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 2007 Saga Legends

A few more cardbacks posted at RS, if anyone is interested.

Well if that doesn't reinforce my decision not to collect the coins, nothing else will.  Leia Boussh again, so soon?!  3PO with battle droid head?  Blech.

You don't have to buy all of them, Brent, just the 1 from each movie and the Darktrooper for the EU coin. Then you're all set!  ;) But, yes, I think we've seen enough of Boussh, 3PO-Battle Droid, and 500th Vader in a short span of time.

The Day After

Thanks, Brent, for bringing that movie up... I'll be having frakkin nightmares again. I don't know how that would affect me now, but as a 6-7 year old (don't remember when it came out)... that had left an impression on me. That really got the Cold War embedded into me... and the fact there was Red Dawn, Firefox and the Rambo movies... Commies were bad dudes and needed to be blown away... least before I decide to get to know the "enemy" better.

Justin, thanks for the hook up on the extra Droideka... might have to keep my eyes peeled for any other goodies you might have.

ps... I hope you and Ryan were able to ID each other.

Reflective boobs!... I didn't know the original Jabba actor had the part as Optimus.

I'm so glad that Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are "Chang(ing) the History of Motion Pictures with Their Stunning and Revolutionary Visualization" by changing the visualization and probably the history of the Transformers.  ::) >:(

I hope the energon cubes look like they did in the cartoons... I loved that look.

I'm not sure what to make of that other than I'm embarassed for some of the actors who I guess aren't making enough off the autograph circuit and are now in that.

Doesn't Cameron make any residuals from friggin' Ferris Bueller?

It looks quite amatuerish... but these were original actors from the various series.

Broem, at a Target I went to over the weekend, the Order 66 packs were up front towards the registers, nothing of the sort (or TAC figs) on the pegs in it's "home" location. If you don't see any around the toy aisle, check up front... hopefully you'll find them there.

There is a seventh "EU Coin" as well.  I think it is only available with the Darktrooper though...

****, now all the coin collectors are gonna buy the DaarkTrooper just for the coin... Leaving none for the people who actually want the figure, like me. Does anyone know if the DT is packed 2x or in multiple cases?

Actually, I won't be buying it, but know someone who will army build them, so I'm gonna buy a coin off him.  ;)

I'm getting Season 2+2.5 2-pack for a late bday gift... I hope. Maybe my wife will stop the order.  ;) Nice deal on it since it's $17 cheaper than buying them separately and we had a gift card to use up too for Borders.

I think the (or I should say, a couple) gold coin UGHs might be coming in Wave 3... I think there's talk of that going on in the Tatooine wave now with a "color change" for the Galactic Marine and the Airborne Trooper, but most think the color change regards the coins. So, as far as seeing them, I haven't yet. But they'll be here soon if that's the case.

Yep, the gold coins are this year's UGHs!  ::)

Other Collectibles / Re: New 30th Anni Series from Topps

Thanks, Jay... You're the man! Too bad the artist cards aren't focused more on original art by Ralph or Joe... to keep in line with Hasbro's (yeah separate company) theme of concept figs!

"The set includes 120 base cards spanning all six movies, TV movies and appearances, deleted scenes, fan films and some other little treats," Topps Editor David Waldeck reveals.

Wow! Deleted scenes, the Ewok adventures... possibly cards from the Christmas show??  :o

Didn't have time to check it out the movie, but aren't there guards by the door as the trio comes in, too?

I recall reading on a recent email that there was going to be a TAC trading card series, but when I went to Topps' homepage, no news about it. Anyone know anything more? Is it going to be like Heritage?

Don't do it, Robo!! Don't give into the dark side of Kubricks!!

Where's Jeff? He's always trying to get me hooked... I think he's even trying to find a DS Gunner to tempting me into this habit hobby.  ;) Someday he'll catch me at a weak moment and bam... I'm screwed.
