Big props to Jay for a swift, painless transfer of hostages loot that we had for each other. Pleasure doing business, as always.

I found some of this wave at TRU this morning.  I gotta say something about that Luke.  He's pale as a ghost and it looks like they put a poorly painted brown bowl on his head.  At least the couple of examples that I saw.

The rest of what I saw looked pretty good.

I'll agree with the Luke statement... poorly painted hair...  >:(

I got the McFett the other day and must say he's pretty cool! I'm surprised at how much articulation the gave him. I figured it'd be about the same as McStormie... Too bad Hasbro didn't do a little resculpting on him instead of just repacking him.

Nate- gross!  ;)

Thanks to Mike for the 4 Wave 2 openers! They are awesome. I will keep an eye out for a minty McFett for you.

Thanks for another handful off my dwindling loot pile!

Audrey can't be "the price."  Audrey "died" long enough ago for it to be public knowledge (his sister-in-law was the one who told Jack, no?), and long enough for autopsy photos to make it back to the USA.  Weren't there newspaper clippings as well?  The terrorist activity had only been going on a short time when the show started.

I think Chloe said it was 2 months before the start of this day.

That would be a relief for most of us if the "exclusive" part of the figure would be the coins and packaging and not the actual figure itself.

If Hasbro does not announce general availability of both the Luke and 3PO/R2 figures soon they can simply kiss my $1,000+ per year collecting their lines goodbye.

These figures are pivotal to the collection of McQuarrie figures and I am going to be right pissed if they don't make these available (on single cards to match the other Concept figs and in reasonable quantities, no single day availability on a website that barely works and then is immediately sold out) to people who cannot attend C4.

I feel extremely misled by Hasbro with these... I had planned on having an AFA certified collection of the concept figs as well as loose ones to display.  But these figs could easily top $80+ if they are not available elsewhere.

I totally understand what you're saying. It's like Hasbro figures the general public isn't going to know about these 2 new figures that continue with the spirit of the TAC line and most don't care about concept figures anyway (except the diehards from whom they can squeeze another large $ amount). It would have been better to have an exclusive figure that's not directly related to the current line... but that would make sense, wouldn't it?

My problem with the Chinese supposedly killing Audrey, the fact that they still have her, and Palmer in the next ep saying to Jack he can't afford an international incident with the Chinese is that it already is an international incident. It's not like Audrey is an ordinary citizen. She worked for her dad who was Sec of Defense. IIRC, her daddy is still alive but no where to be found in all this. Not unless the gov't wrote her off as going rogue when she left to find Jack. I guess we'll find out next week how the writers work this out...

That was a kick-arse episode... made me think WTF??? is this the final episode?? And the Audrey being alive that was discussed here was revealed.

4. The John McClane-esque hanging of Fayed ala Die Hard

That's about right! Fayed must've had some adrenaline pumping after being interrogated by Jack and then fighting for his life... That nice heavy wrench to Fayed's hand/wrist made me cringe.

I just want a McQuarrie R2-D2 and Threepio...

must add McQuarrie Luke now... Frakkers!

Sooo, does that mean if you get 1 figure a day, you've get 1 of each or you gotta choose??  :-\

I need 1x R2/3-PO and a Luke now.

but damn I couldn't resist all the Honor Guards and DS troops.

Didn't anyone ever tell you "Resistance is Futile?"  ;)

Congrats on the nice score!

I just want a McQuarrie R2-D2 and Threepio. I'm an opener so card condition wouldn't matter.

Actually the Gredenko bit shocked me and made me rather queasy... but I guess he was wrong in the long run. There was no way both of them making it out of there alive... especially after losing that much blood. I guess they were in too much of a hurry to think of turniquet (sp?)... Now someone's got a one'armed Bernie hanging on the beach.  ;)

Surprised by Palmer's change of direction. Cool about Lennox bugging Daniels. And I wonder what is motiviating Ricky Schroeder to cover Milo's tracks?
