Well that'll open a new can of worms.

Are they taking this week off because they don't want to compete with the Olympics?

I thought they weren't coming back until March, which would make it about a month?  But, yeah, having breaks all the time isn't good.

I can understand not wanting to compete against the Olympics, though.

I always wondered why would Boba Fett's voice need to sound like Jango's/clone's voice?  Since he is pretty badass, perhaps he suffered some damage to the vocal cords during some scuffle that almost cost him his life?  Or he smoked?  Or maybe some ailment, or maybe because he didn't have the restrictions that the clone troopers had...

I have Funko on my Toy Fair Tour Schedule, I'm sure they will have a lot more info on the line and plans for the future available then.

Thanks, Jeff!

Collections / Re: Photos of the collection... Updated 02.07.2014***

Really nice, Rob.  It's photos like these that I need to share with my wife who thinks I have the largest SW collection in the world to prove mine is just a fraction of this.

I am tempted by the "Firefly" figures and some others, but as I mentioned earlier, there's only 5 of the crew.  I don't want to get involved and pick up the five if there are no plans to do the whole crew.  Is there anyone to ask about this?  At Toy Fair maybe?

I'm obviously interested in any extra attention given to Star Wars and I know lots of patrons/employees dress in Star Wars costumes, but are there any other distinct advantages to going in June?

My cousin went during SW Weekends (not sure if she planned it that way) but I know they had a parade and Billy Dee was in it.  I know some of the actors show up... not sure what their involvement is other than the parade (autograph sessions?)... But that's all I can offer.

Well, I think the whole retro thing is that the likeness is not quite as good as they are now.  I mean the Kenner SW figures didn't look like Luke, but all the same, I didn't care back then.

Hope they do the rest of the Serenity crew.  No Tams, Book, or Inara.

^The expression on each person's face in the picture looks as if Mas Amedda passed gas.

Okay, so here's a question to Hasbro for Toy Fair.  If people have been finding product they want to buy, like Diddly and others, on the pegs, but they pass on them due to horrible quality control (paint apps), then isn't this is another reason that product doesn't move?  It's not that people don't want what they put out but they pass on it because the final product is bad.

Is it me, or is the quality control on the paint for all the product lines slipping?  Seems like I've passed on more than a handful of 6" and TBS figures due to crossed-eyes, etc.  I've historically not been all that anal about paint apps, so I'm not sure if I'm getting pickier or if the paint is actually worse across the board.

No, it's not just you and it's not just this line.  I've noticed horrible paint apps on the 6" 'collector's' line as well.  I can't say about TBS too much since I've only bought a couple figures off that line so far, so I haven't paid much attention to them.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Black Series Rumors

I hope they get to the original cantina guys in 6" scale.  Would be great to have Hammerhead, Walrusman, and Snaggletooth alongside Greedo.

+1

Catwoman - Rebel Wilson

I just threw up in my mouth.  Thanks, Justin.

Well, now they have to explain why there's another guy playing Green Lantern.  Is Ryan Reynold going to should up and pass the gas torch?

At this point, I kind of want to see how jacked-up of a cast they can come up with.

They still haven't contacted Dustin Diamond.  He could be some DC Screech-like villain.
