Cassian is the Eadu/blue coat version

In the clip I'm sure that coat is brown...

 ;)

Winner!

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Walmart Black Series 3.75" Wave 5

I was actually thinking this one might be related to Episode 8.

I saw the code name Candy Man and immediately thought of Tony Todd.

It's all due to those expensive NERF features.  >:D

Plus Leto has admitted to have not seen the movie, so I wish he'd see it before commenting.

I'd take the Sandtrooper, Dave, if you want to go for it a split costs.

Done deal.  You get the Sandtrooper for $30 and I get the other three figures for $30, right?   ;)

Good one!  I was going to give you $45 for the one.  ;)

But Dave's assessment is pretty much spot on, just switch the Sandie with the astromech for me

So next year, if there is a poll, Hasbro is suggesting to vote for the obscure OT, PT or anything Rebels, TCW, or EU?

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Star Trek

The aft section of the ship looks... Klingon!

I've not read up on Discovery so I'm not sure where in the timeline this stands, but if it's after the Klingon/Federation peace treaty, it might make sense for them to collaborate the best of both's technologies when producing a starship.  I think the saucer section seems a little small, but I'm interested in learning more about the show now.  I half expected to see the Starfleet and Klingon sigils combined on that ship.  And the music makes this seem a more militaristic themed show.

I'd take an Obi-Wan (and Kylo if they have him) if anyone has time.

Dengar for me, too.  Gotta love the comments on the SW site.

The Force Awakens / Re: Retail Prices/Sales/Discounts

I'd like the EE one at that price.

I really like Jeff's list.  I'd definitely like a retail release of Han in Carbonite, too.

Another thing with EU-type of winners: people will happy someone wins but then complain about the headache of trying to find the figure in store or online for a reasonable price because the scalpers eat them right up.  I don't really understand the EU hype, but that's me, and I'm happier for it since I haven't had my universe destroyed by the Disney purchase.  But I'm also happy for those that get their figures too.

Those are interesting numbers, Jeff.  With the new trilogy, I bought more 6" figures than I had thought I would...probably all but 5.  But only 1 OT & PT figure were released in the line (not including the two multi-packs) and the two Rebels figures (so far).  I guess 1 prequel figure makes sense since Disney wanted to distance itself from that trilogy... But there are some cool characters to come from those movies.

It also makes sense being a movie year that more of the focus is on that movie, but I really hope that Hasbro focuses on central figures in the movie than say lesser ones like Zuvio, Asty, or Guavian until the movie is out for a while to gauge their popularity accurately.  Maybe get some of the heroes and villains out and mix from the OT, PT and Rebels or EU in the next couple waves since the characters of the new movie aren't yet established?
