I already have one of those dumbass!   :D

I'm also hoping for at least a re-release of the figure.

I like it.  Especially the way most of the weapons can be "hidden" like Grievous' fighter or even the other Jedi Starfighters.  It will look close to the film versions and still have some play value.

Now we'll just need pilots for it.   :D

That was one of those Sears Exclusives back in the day.  I had that in my collection as a kid.  I can't find the backdrop, but I still have the base.

Although I haven't bought a PC game in a while.  There are certain games I prefer on the PC than my X-Box...FPS being one of them.

That being said I'm having a lot of fun with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on the X-Box!   :D

Jesse - are you talking about this design?

To be honest, you could almost see Hasbro releasing this as well but using the Serpent Armor toy from GI Joe as a starting point. Or even a customizer using that toy as a starting point.

Looks like a Kubrick!

For Christmas I received Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Dragon Age: Origins for the X-box.

Both are really good games!

Very nice!  All it's missing is the camera crew reflected in C-3PO's head!

But they were built by Lando.   :D

Isn't that pretty much what killed Carol Carpenter?  Yeah, even in the red-carpet type of video, they were running in the background on the morning shows, where she should look at her best, she just looked sickly skinny.

I'd guess drugs over any eating disorder.  It's not out-of-the-ordinary for actresses to look overly-thin on the red carpet... they need to maintain that weight to look good on film.

A good friend of mine passed away at age 32 because of an undiagnosed defect in his heart...no drugs involved.

I won't jump to conclusions about this, since there wasn't any real evidence she had a drug problem that I know of.

Is District 9 worthy of a blind purchase?

Totally - loved it - especially if you're a fan of anything aliens and V.  BD also comes with a preview of GOW III if you're into gaming and have a PS3 of course.

I read this and thought to myself "Wait a sec...Gears of War is for the X-box!" -- Silly me.   :D

District 9 was a fantastic movie....well worth the purchase.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Walmart Legacy Collection AT-ST
« on: December 20, 2009, 03:59 PM »
I was at Wal-mart last night picking up some items and noticed the end-cap that was loaded with the new AT-ST was now full of Turbo Tanks.  I looked around a little and found the AT-ST's in an overflow area and on clearance for $29.

Good luck Chris!  I just completed my last Master's course in Space Operations Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this week!  All I have left to do is re-submit my capstone project (Thesis) and I'm all set for my Major's board next year!   :D

If you'll accept some friendly advice, I think you should go towards the focus in the Revolutionary War.  You have expressed interest in the subject so it will help you keep your focus on it, especially towards the end when all you want to do is be done with it.  Since you have first-hand experience in the modern era, you can always talk to your students about that.

Nice pics Brent!  Where in Alaska did you go?  I used to live up in North Pole, just outside of Fairbanks.  I loved my time there and would move back in a heartbeat!
