Does anyone else think the Vader in this 3-pack looks a bit underscaled?

Hard to tell from in the box. I'll have to wait and see when i actually get one.

I was able to pick up the Blue 3-pack today. Here's the good news, they are two per case.

Here's the break down of Wave 3 R2:

2 blue clone 3-packs
1 jet pack trooper
1 blue vulture droid
1 Vader on table
1 Jedi on Barc speeder

Almost a perfect case assortment, but 5 out of 6 isn't bad for hasbro.

I couldn't believe it when I heard it either.  Of all the bands and all the reunion shows, this is one I *never* would have thought to happen.  I have a feeling - and maybe this is way off base - that this one-time reunion might be a "test".  If they can work through their differences and get through this show without strangling each other, it stands to reason that they might be able to stick together for a reunion tour across the world.  One can only hope.  :)

JohnH, great to see my fellow prog head around these parts!

Yeah, I was pretty stunned when I heard the Pink Floyd reunion was happening. I was also suprised it wasn't breaking news on some of the radios stations I listen to. Wish I could see it.

ROTS is definately going to have a tough time from here on out. It will definately overtake Jurassic Park and could concievably pull out ahead of ROTK, but it will take weeks to do it. As for 400m, it's a craps shoot.

Chris R and I were talking about this not too long ago. As I told him, I figured that was to show a young and old Jango clone, in different stages of aging - first batch and second batch. I didn't think of it as a different clone template. I never saw an asian looking Clone, though.

Yeah, I noticed that as well and this is what I was thinking.

Good eye catching those errors! Stuff like that goes right above my head most of the time.

Best of luck man.

I'm one of those people who has a high motabolizm and have never been over weight (I've never been really physically fit either,) but I have three people in my life, one of them being my wife, who I have seen do amazing things with their weight. Your plan seems solid, and I agree with th red bull intack comment, but something else I'd like you to keep in mind, with my wife and friends, a lot of the wight loss was atributed to attitude. These people really wanted it, and especially with my wife, I could see their demeaner change for the better.  Once my wife started noticing her cloths were getting loose, she became a different person in a way, and I think that's gone a long way to helping her keep the wieght off (in addition to cuttiiing out snaks entirely :P)

Again, best of luck!

I have yet to see Batman Begins, but it's high on my list. I did see Mr. and Mrs. Smith last night and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I thinks it's worth checking out.

But the film I'm raving about is Crash. Oh My God! It was fantastic. There are two scenes in that movie that are so masterfully done, that I just sit and think in awe of them. It really moved me and deserves high marks this comming awards season.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: So how many times have you seen it?

I saw it a third time last week with JediMac and Tyderium. I had a great time hanging out with those guys and I wish some of the other So Cal guys like amarsala and stim could have made it as well.

I'm planning on 6 or so Baccaras and hopefully 10 Tarkins.

Are you customizing the Tarkins? I'd like to, but I'm not that skilled. Share your ideas if you are. 8)

Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

I can't see the picture. :-[

Hey, why don't we make this the official Vintage Acquisitions thread?

I just picked up the desert sail skiff mini rig and the Land of the Jawa's playset last night from a collectors shop, both loose.

The mini rig completes my regular mini rig set. Of the POTF ones, I have the Desert skiff and need the other two. I also need the ewok battle wagon, but don't know if that qualifies as a mini rig.

The Land of the Jawas is actually the first of those cardboard back drop playsets I've ever owned. It was in very good shape as well. The base and the escape pod were pristine clean with the stickers nice and sharp. The Cardboard was in very good shape. There are some dings, and the top two corners were a little creased, but over all, it's very solid. It also has all four of the standies and the elevator is incredibly clean with a pristine sticker. I'm very happy with it.

Now I need only 17 more loose vintage items to complete my collection. :P
