Revenge of the Sith / Re: Jedi Temple Assault Battle Pack

That Mudnemo guy, formerly powerjedi999, is starting a 5-pack run on the battle pack 501sts, and people are paying more than $12 per clone. Some people.

Im still hoping that I can find a Green Vulture Droid on the pegs someday.

Yeah, what was the deal with that? I hope it wasn't a paint correction instead of a running change, that would make the Green one a real toughie even in the after market.

The distribution does seem a bit odd. I would have expected the Anakin set to be clogging the selves before we saw the Clone set, let alone the Sith set. But, all of my stores have been getting these in one case at a time and they have been seeling almost instantaniously.

I still have yet to see the sith set.

I don't shop at WM if I can help it, but hopefully this means Target and TRU will drop theirs back to $4.99--or more likely, refrain from raising them to $6.99. Even holding at $5.99 would still be a good thing.

Target should drop their price, but I can't see TRU doing so. It's not their MO. Sure they did it to compete on 4/2 and the weeks following, but that's an unusual move for them.

So, that's a total of $120 plus tax Hasbro and Target have made off my weak soul.

Well Jared, that's something you and I have in common. :-[

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Favorite Vehicles?
« on: September 13, 2005, 01:25 PM »
Most are really good, but my favorate is the F/X wing because of the lights and sounds. Just the red glow of the engines gives me chills when I activate them because they are done so well.

Knowing Hasbro, the Mustafar set will come with a Pilot or two as well.  ::)
Didn't ya hear? Everything is coming with a clone pilot from now on, the Plo Koon Fighter, the Target Steath trooper, the final 12.... :P

Thanks for that info Jeff. I've always like dealing with Newforce, they seem like good guys. To be honest, I thought their recent lack of activity was fallout from the passing of a family member, but it's nice to hear that they're back up and running and just playing it smart.

It's nice to know that there is such a thing as a saturation point, isn't there?
