Which clones are they? They don't look like #41 or #6. They look like the Target clones minus the emblems. :(

I just wanted to comment on the fact that these are finally starting to sit on the pegs for more tham 2 minutes after opening, which is a relief. Are people still having problems tracking them all down, or have you noticed the same thing?

I love hearing stuff like this, especially when the adults are generous to the kids, the way it should be. ;D

Or... they may just release a nice SA version in the Battle for Courescant (or however the heck ya spell it) wave. I guess we'll see.

Picked up another Shocktrooper at Target, but it was fun/unusual find. I was there in the afternoon shopping for school cloths for my oldest with the family. My girls started messing around with some cloths on a display and then my oldest runs over to me "Daddy, look what I found!" It was the shocktrooper sitting on top of some girls cloths. :D

Revenge of the Sith / #65 Tactical Ops Trooper (501st)

Part of me is worried that these figures too, Michael, C2 especially, in that they will be like the last E1 wave and barely see distribution. A bunch of rehashes, even cool ones, may not be getting a heavy push into stores.

This is my number one concern. It's funny, people complain and worry constantly that they are going to miss figures, but somehow miss that fact that it's usually only the last figures released in the line like the the upcoming C2 stuff that are the true tough ones to get.

I've seen this version and haven't picked it up yet. I think I'm safe in waiting for once.

Wow, wow, wow! I've tried to imagine what your other stuff was like, but it's more than I can imagine. Simply impressive. I take it you have a dedicated room in the house?

Nice work! Very cool use of parts, the male Twi'lik Jedi came out particularly well.

Suppose we'll wait a year or two to get the Cody we really want; a SA Cody.  I'll buy one but then wait for SA Cody.  Sure hope I am wrong on this.

There's a strong rumor that we're getting Cody in the '06 line, so have faith. ;)

I picked up a lonely shocktrooper today, but that's the last one I need, so I'm done with 'em. :D

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Walmart done with 4" Line?
« on: September 10, 2005, 12:11 PM »
I've heard that from every store, every year, since 1995. The manager has no idea what he's talking about. He's proably just a frustrated Wal-mart employee. The only time Walmart made an adjustment to their buying habbits was durring the Saga line when they decided not to carry 12" and vehicels.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

Thanks. I was thinking about doing something like that, but received it yesterday and the arm stays in fairly well, even when moving it (knock on wood.) The arm was stubbed, just like yours, but is seems that the stub was mangled just enough to have it almost snap into place, but it still comes back out with almost no effort.

It's fine standing next to my POTF2 Ev-9d9 for now. The arm will definatley stay put for display purposes, but later on, I may try a more semi perminant solution.

You would think that with this beeing a common problem with the figure, that someone would have devised a method, or built a kit, that would fix the problem. :P

ActionHQ has collection 1 up for presale and has carded pictures of all of them (albiet small.) Gee comes with the big AT-RT driver shooting riffle and the picture on the side shows how glaringly off the figures paint scheme is on the helmet. :-[

Hopefully Collection 2 images will surface soon to settle the 501st sculpt debate.
