The Vintage Collection '10-'13 / Antique Finish Detail
« on: March 30, 2010, 02:56 PM »
A friend of mine just contacted me and noticed a strange/new addition to RS's checklist for the TVC line: "Antique Force Detail" Collection figures. Like the exclusive 4-LOM and Zuckuss, it sounds like these are simple Kenner based repaints of the new vintage figures and serve as this year's UGH gimmick. Interesting. I guess that is why there are 11 "new" figures in the previously released list as the 12th figure in the case will probably be the chase figure.

"Antique Force Detail" Collection

Did anyone catch the pilot of Human Target last night? Not bad, I like Mike Valley as an actor so I think it has potential.

Collections / Collection Display Alternatives
« on: July 21, 2009, 11:45 PM »
I've been on the lookout for more JL cases for displaying my growing Kubrick collection and Diecast Alley was where I could find a decent supply of them. Unfortunately, it looks like they are out as well, but I did stumble across a motorized, rotating base that could not only work for Kubricks, but for other collectibles like 3-3/4" figures, 12" figures, Titaniums, Galactic Heroes etc.

They are made by AUTOart and come in 10" and 12.2" diameter sizes with a black or mirror top finish.

Has anyone used these or something like this to display their collection or to highlight one particular favorite item?

Did anyone catch the series premiere tonight? I thought it was a very cool show... kind of an amalgam of House, Bones, 24 & X Files.

Kubricks / 2009 Medicom Collectors Box Set

Could the wookiee actually be Chewbacca from the Holiday Special Cartoon?

Previous 5 packs have had the Droids Wicket and C-3PO and there's the carded R2 and Fett. Maybe this is another in a series of nods to those old animations?
