New stormtrooper helmets will take getting used to but I like the freshness of the design.

Mr. Hodges future access to LFL is about to be severely limited methinks.

Anyone have a handy list of how many times they've done the Snowtrooper Commander/Officer over the years?  I know there's been...

- 2003 Saga 03-19
- 2006 Saga-011
- 2007 30AC ESB Tin (Saga 03-19 with removable helmet)
- 2014 Black Series Wave 5

Am I forgetting any?

There was one in the Target Exclusive Ultimate Battle Pack (second from the right)

Another awesome preview... total OT stylings and feel in this clip.

Strange.  Amazon is listing these as arriving the 2nd week of September.

I think EE expedited their order.

I'm your huckleberry :)

Edit: Ordered

I thought the hands were re-used?  The forearms and vest I didn't notice (Leia's away, with everyone else, wishing I had shelving up :().

That's a good bit of new!

The hands I thought reminded me of Bastillas or another characters.  I could be wrong.

For the curious, btw, Torryn Farr's head?  It swaps with basically every female Rebel Pilot and POSSIBLY the female Impy from Force Unleashed.

So headswaps, galore, if you want.  You could have your own army of basically chicks looking at computer screens.

Got mine today...  I got 2 Torryn Farr figures, two Snowtrooper Officers, Luke, and Yoda.

-Torryn Farr...  A great figure, if not simply a headswap.  Hasbro going the removable earmuff route is really a nice nod from them, and the kind of thing that makes a collector figure special.  :)  I am planning a headswap, hopefully, and may buy more to do other swaps.

I didn't get Dak yet, and I didn't get anyone else...  I don't need Bastilla Shan or anything like that.  I'd like Daks but not for $10.  Anyone selling Daks for less, I'm all ears.  ;D

Toryn Farr has a new head, vest, forearms and hands ;)

PM sent about spare Daks

Hasn't pretty much every one of TRU's "BIG" ($100+) exclusives ended up in their Holiday ads for big savings?

When I see sets like this priced at $100 at TRU, I assume it's so they can put it in the early holiday shopping ads for "WOW - 30% OFF!" type deals.

Yep, I bet that's what will end up happening. The bastards.

Star Wars Rebels / Re: Star Wars Rebels Hero Series X-Wing

Saw this last night. The wings don't open. The plastic is the same plastic used for the Star Speeder 3000. Kind of cheap but solid. There isn't a lot of detail on the ship however it could be made to look fantastic with a paint job. The R2 is just a dome like what was included in the ROTS Jedi starfighters. It think the slot could be drilled out to hold a real R2. The is nothing inside the toy and no other play features. I guess we could cut the canopy off and build out some kind of cockpit for a figure. It's big enough to hold a figure in there. The canopy could be recasted clear.  Electronics could be taken from the FX version and stored inside. The wings could be cut  and extra plastic sheets added to the holes.

It's interesting it says Disney on it.

There is an electronic version coming exclusive to Sams' Club

I received 3 of the 9pks today from Entertainment Earth - Sandtrooper Strike (ANH), Imperial Assault (Star Wars Rebels) and Galactic Empire (ROTJ). I foresee myself (like Fighter Pods before them) to be all in on these. They are TOTALLY reminiscent of green army men and there is enough variety in characters to really rope someone with OCD in to the line. The vehicles don't interest me that much (none are included in these sets) because of their scale.

The figures themselves are slightly larger than the Hologram figures that came with the TSC line.

Is it same price as the Con, $70.00 tax included.

$64.99 - sold out at about 11am ET

Looks like I have to revise my previous statement. Han DOES include all of the same accessories as the standard 6" releases.

I saw the Showdown 2-pack for the first time in a store the other day.  It looks cool.  But then you look right above that pack and hanging on the pegs are the individual versions of Han and Greedo.  And that just comes across as ridiculous.

What I'd like to know?  Does this 2-pack come with all of Han's accessories that are packed with the 6" basic figure?  Because if it does, I may just trade off my individual Han Solo and buy the 2-pack.  I still haven't bought Greedo, and I'm in no hurry to do so.

Han doesn't include the stormtrooper belt or E-11 blaster so it's even less of a value than buying the singles.

Really?  Thanks for the info, Jay!  With that in mind I think I'll be skipping the 2-pack then.

The next question?  Where to get a Greedo?  Amazon and eBay have low enough prices.  Although with the packaging change coming soon, there's no doubt going to be a Target clearance coming as well.  How low does anyone think the Black Series 6" figures might go there?

Despite the revised packaging, the Target DPCI isn't changing. I can get you a Greedo cheaper than Amazon. PM me for details.

That depends on if the DCPI is going to change for the 6" figures...

It's not.
