gijoehq.com is having a big sale too.  50% off orders over $50.  I've been buying GI Joe toys from for about 3 years and have never had any problems.  He has a lot of loose figures available.  Apparently, he is having this sale because his online store is closing.

I am thinking about getting in on the 25th Anniversary figures this summer, and starting by purchasing some older items. I am thinking about Night Ops Humvee, Scrap Iron, 5 Range Vipers, and Barrel Roll, all for $23 shipped from HTS.com. Can anyone offer their opinions on these figures, or suggest some other items on HTS.com that are worth purchasing? Thanks!

I would recommend generalsjoes.com for some good reviews of the figures released over the past 5 years or more.

The 2007 GI Joe Convention brochure and order form are now up at gijoeclub.com.  Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun and I can't wait.

They are going to have a 25th Anniversary set with an arctic theme including Sgt. Clutch, Doc (female), Sgt. Flash, Grunt, Rock ‘N Roll, Sparks, Sgt. Zap, Lt. Claymore, COBRA Officer (female) & COBRA Trooper (female).

Keep an eye on ebay because somethings you can find an original 1984 Prime for about $100 and in great condition.  I picked up a pre-rub 1984 Prime back in January for about $100 and it was near perfect.  Caution, because once I bought Prime then I
went on a 1984-1987 buying spree.

Now I may be starting up again because since buying the Bellomo book I had to go out and find a nice Predaking set.  Next up I need to get Trypticon.

Then I start looking at all the 1988 toys and see some cool one's too like Dreadwing.  I managed to pick up a Darkwing in January but I still need the Dreadwind.

If anyone wants to get hooked buy Bellomo's Transformers book and his GI Joe book too if you want hooked.

Today, I finally received my Masterpiece Megatron shipping confirmation from agesthreeandup.com.  I saved a lot by ordering both sets from them.  However, it sure took a while for them to get the toys in the mail.  They ordered a lot of them and then had them shipped by boat.  Hopefully, they will be here by this Saturday.

I haven't seen any of the yet to be released TF Movie toys since Target the other day.

I stopped at the Champlin, MN Target today and saw the new deluxe movie Transformers.  All of them were very tempting but I'll wait for a good sale someday.  Here's a picture I snapped.

I picked up the new Transformers Generation 1 Guide by Mark Bellomo today.  Very cool book with a lot of great info.  It's set up the same way as his GI Joe Guide.

I saw the movie preview figures too and I didn't think they were that bad.  I'll probably pick them up someday but when they hit clearance.

Yesterday, I got confirmation from the Transformers Club that they will fill my order for the convention set.  Over the past week I've been tempted to make plans to travel to the Con but I couldn't make it happen and I'm saving for the Atlanta GI Joe Con.  Also, all of the spots, except some by lottery, for the Hasbro HQ tour were full.  Also, the movie premiere during the Con sounded great too.  So in the end I just ordered the non-attending package.  Hopefully, they don't have Sunstorm as an attending premium or con exclusive.

The $329 is the same price they charge for attending the convention.  They always do this at least for the GI Joe Con they also put on.  The price also includes admission to the con, seminars, snacks, dinner, etc.  Unfortunately, they also charge the same amount for not attending and you don't get the extra toy they give out if you show up in person.

Also, the fourth MOTH set will include a repaint of the 1985 Snow Sepent and 1987 Ice Viper.  I'm a big fan of the first set repaint of Night Viper too and I can't wait to army build the arctic set.

I haven't seen or purchased the reissue Soundwave.  I'm going to pass and use the $29.99 plus tax on another original version instead.

I went scouring Ebay the other day looking at vehicles and its OHH so tempting to start placing bids on stuff.

I started scouring Bay in early 2004 for all the 1982-1994 line too.  However, I was hooked after receiving the first few boxes at the front door.  The thing with this line is the army building bug.  I started buying just Cobra troops but that soon led to most 1982-1991 Cobra figures.  Then I started buying a few extra GI Joe figures like Grunt, Zap, Flash and some others in multiples.  After that, I started buying vehicles and sets I already have because all these armies need something to drive or defend.  I have quite a bit of room to display a lot of this stuff which doesn't help me cut back either.

That's a steal for Optimus. I wish I could find one for that cheap ! NIce score !

I saw these for 75% off at the Northtown Target store back in January but I passed.  If it came with a trailer I would have purchased it.  I'm goin to pick up the Masterpiece set with trailer one of these days.

I can't wait for the new MP Megatron in March.

Has anyone purchased a KO Swoop and if so how is the quality?

The WHALE is one of my favorite GI Joe vehicles too.  They also released through mail order around 1993-1994.  If you keep an eye on ebay you can find a complete one for around $50 once in a while.
