Photonovels and Movies / Re: RE #14 - SURVIVAL

to me the creature head looks like a rats tyrell figure.
And also Chewie i think the rotting clone is a bit much, it take days for him to start rotting, and the nose to be gone at least a week. Unless the water is acidic,l but still excellant plot, and story cant wait for the next one. 8)

I was mentined in the photnovel that by the time chapter 14 starts, they've been there for weeks.

I love this, Chewie. I've waited for the Dathomir plot to begin and finally it's come!

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: EU Female Clone Commander in battle
« on: September 21, 2005, 12:25 AM »
You know... In the EU it always mentions females being a big part of what makes up the mandalorian armies. I've ALWAYS wondered what female mandalorian armour would looks like, and if there's a man to do it properly, it'd be you, JubJub.

I love this pic. I can see this happening- ince they gave obi-wan armour, I could see a non-clone general wearing armour like this.

I like it.  Very nice work, except my dirty little mind looks at that big antenna on his right shoulder and sees phallus.  But that's probably just me.

interesting... :o

I didn't see that at all when I took a peek at the antenna O_o

That looks like it's going to be an awesome Gree - I can't wait to see the end product!
I might finish it next weekend because of school and other things. I wish it was summer so I have time to work on my customs.

I hear ya. School's a bummer for custom time. Since school started I haven't done much customs nor do I get any ideas for customs since you gotta concentrate on them grades.

What about an EU "Kamino training" wave? it could have figures like:

01. Adult Clone - In red non-armour uniform, super-articulated, accesspries like accrelerated learning helmet or ikea cutlery :P

02. Kaminoan cloning supervisor - Super-articulated with datapad

03. Jango Fett: ARC trooper training sargeant - in mandalorian armour, Super-articulated, removable helmet, and can include a lot of accessories such as clone weapons for demonstrating uses.

04. Cuyvul 'dar (As mentioned in Republic Commando: Hard Contact. Disbanded mandalorians who went their separate ways. some of them were contacted by Jango Fett to see if they wanted to train armies for the republic) Training Sargeant - Super-articulated, full mando armour, mandalorian-issue blaster, removable helmet. Could come in a myriad of paint variations for different mandos.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: New name

I like the name change as much as I like the food. And I really like the food; except it's spelled differently than it's pronounced -  "Sio Pao".

pretty much every elbow cut joint pops out in this line

It's not cause of the plastics, actually. it's because the joints were made very shallow unlike the ones before, so they pop out more easily because of it -- not because of lower-quality plastic.

Customs Community and Group Projects / Re: Rick UK's website?

I traded for one of those Commandos a while back from him, but for some reason it just didn't "do it for me" so it was given as a gift to a fellow member here.

They are great figures, but it just didn't fit in for me for some reason.  His talent is amazing, I guess I'm just not a huge fan of the Commando design (I know, I'm in the minority).

 :P

BLASPHEMER!  *Vapes him with a DC-17*

Just kidding. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I myself prefer the genesis of all the troopers; The Mandalorians of course. The mystique of the mandalorians and the sheer badass-ness of jango and boba on film probably contribute to my mandalorian mania.

If I could afford ricky's clone commando figs, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Too bad I'm poor and have even poorer sculpting ablilities. if not, I'd have done it myself :P

I still think that ricky's commandoes were the best clones ever. I mean, those things are made from scratch! it's crazy!

Well almost from scratch, the bodies are CW SA clones cast in wax then majorly retooled. The headsculpt is indeed from scratch.

And speaking of Commandos, DD have you finished your's yet? :)

Well, thelegs are from the SA clones. The body that hecast in wax and resculpted was actually the bootleg clone from hong kong. Still, it's incredible at the level of detail and accuracy (which is dead on) -- especially considering that at the time he did it, there weren't much reference pics.
