Madonna Signs On For Live Action Television Series!

From Ruetgers:

For Immediate Release!
Madonna Inks Deal With Lucasfilm For Star Wars Television Show
Friday, March 31st, 5:35 PM

Liz Rosenburg and a spokesperson for Lucasfilm just confirmed that the reigning Queen of Pop and the father of Star Wars may, in fact, soon be working together. This comes after a photo was leaked to the internet of Madonna's audition for the forthcoming Star Wars television project.

"Madonna is an admittedly unusual choice for us, but George has always been a fan and he really wants to take the saga in a bold new direction." Said the Lucasfilm rep. "Seriously, what could possibly be more unexpected?"

Rosenberg concurs. "Turns out Rocco is a huge, huge fan (of SW), and Madge initially went in just so he could tour the ranch." But, after a lengthy two hour meeting in which Lucas outlined his vision for the top secret project, she was completely sold on both her possible role and the story. "Madonna was surprised by how well this just might suit her."

Even more compelling is the long delayed start date of 2008. This gives the recently recrowned disco queen plenty of time to conduct her summer tour and even work on an album or two before turning up in the bay area for what would undoubtedly be a lengthy stay until the production moves to Australia where principle photography is rumoured to take place.

"Madonna obviously knows this is a real risk," explained Rosenburg. "And definitely wants to be around for the prelimenary planning stages if at all possible."

Just how sold is Madonna on her participation in the series? She's already sent out two assistants with camcorders to scout possible residences for Guy and the family. Moreover, she has even turned to Lucas on school advice for the kiddies. So it does appear that the "stars" may already be very much aligned for this one.

You heard it here FIRST! Stay tuned to for more on this as it developes!

Now what are we supose to do?

Greetings Jedis and Clones!

TV-9D9 / Young Wormie Skywalker Adventures???

Greetings Jedis and Clones!

I found this interesting....

He (Rick McCallum) told BBC Radio 1 the writing team would soon be meeting to start on the project, which would begin filming in 2008 and be ready the same year.

"Hopefully if we can make it work and everybody's excited and watches it we will keep on going," said McCallum.

The series will be set between episodes three and four of the film saga.

It would cover the 20 years in the life of Luke Skywalker growing up that remains a mystery to most film-goers.

McCallum said there would be "a whole bunch of new characters" and the series would be "much more dramatic and darker".

Huge franchise

He added that it was unlikely any of the stars of the movies would be involved in the TV series.

Star Wars creator George Lucas has just completed writing the script for the next Indiana Jones film and will then begin work on Red Tails, about African-American pilots in World War II.

Following completion of that film, work will begin on the Star Wars TV series.

There has already been a Star Wars series spin-off in the shape of the animated Clone Wars, which began as three-minute episodes before they were expanded to 30-minute shows.

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, released in 2005, marked the end of the end of the Star Wars saga on the big screen.

It became the biggest film franchise in history, with the final film alone taking £500m at the box office outside of the US.

Watto's Junk Yard / PayPal 10% Discount Coupon
« on: July 1, 2005, 03:56 PM »

I found this at that other s[/i]ite....

Hey guys and gals,

I decided to share this paypal Redemption Code with everyone:

It grants 10% off (to a limit of $25.00 USD) towards any auction payment made before July 15. It's some catalogue coupon apparently but it definitely works as I just paid my auction using it. It's not bound to any account and I believe you can use it numerous times but obviously just once per auction payment.

Credit goes to Gruson who shared it over at the Sideshow Collectors forum [and SonicRage who post it at that other s[/i]ite].

How do I enter this code when making the paypal auction payment?

You can only use the coupons when paying eBay auctions, in the screen before send money after the total there is a box that says "Promotions/Coupons" you need to type in the code there and then click "Apply Coupon".

Newbies / Hi from the caribbean!
« on: May 13, 2005, 02:57 PM »
Hello from Puerto Rico "La Isla Del Encanto", I'm new here but an old Star Wars fan, I collect action figures, vehicles, comics and video games. I do some custom but I like to preserve my figues "virgins", so I try to avoid paint applications and cutting, just adding items to the figure. I love to trade and sell in "evil"Bay, in my eBay store I have a sign that read: NO SCALPERS ALLOWED. I sell what I have extra, I like to buy cases at etailers to save money and time. Cheers! ;D
