Per Gh update - these are not going to be on Vintage cards.  Strange to classify them in the Vintage Collection only to card them on the TPM 3D design.

GH has some of the figures loose from the Hasbro display.  They look nice with the accessories.

GH has the images of loose 2012 figs.  Looks like everyone gets their wish for Skiff Lando.

But I would really like to know the story behind why 2011 is essentially getting the shaft on figures.  I forgot that the AOTC wave was a 2010 wave after  the TPM wave is postponed a year   We get a lackluster Wave 5, a decent Wave 6, a great Wave 7 and a stripped down Wave 8/9.  It would be nice to have the real story as it might alleviate some of the frustration.

I just wonder what they are going to push for the holidays as there does not seem to be enough product.  Unless they just plan to let the pegs languish with clones and sandies.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie.  Cap has never been one of top favorites, and the history of screen (TV or Movie) is so horrible that I had few expectations.  It was nicely done and a great way to escape for a few hours.

Would be nice if they tried to gauge demand some how other than just re-releasing the waves.  We are not going to need any of the ones that carried over - the AOTC Obi and Clone are sitting around a good bit, Jango is starting to as well.  I suppose they have production numbers and can go off of that at least a bit.

And I will be curious as to how they define a HTF figure.

Pretty cool stuff, but that makes 2011 in terms of basic carded figures a serious mess.  Waves 4-6 hit early, with poor distribution, Wave 7 now.  The we get Wave 9 with endless revision cases for the Revenge cards and that's it?  Am I missing something?

So only one new wave of Vintage figs for the remainder of the year?

No early reviews with the movie set for release in two days? That is not usually a good sign.  I really want this movie to be good.
