Kubricks / Re: Medicom Toy Exhibition '13 (Parco Show)

While I don't consider the carded C-3PO and R2 from DX 1 'new' it's still at least nice to see new Kubrick output from Medicom. I was questioning whether we'd even see these carded re-releases anymore but it's my guess we'll only see carded re-releases exclusive to Wonder Fest and the the Parco Toy Exhibition each year at best.
I'm not all negative, while completely nonplused by the R2 and 3PO on cards, I am quietly anticipating what Medicom will do for the uber rare carded release for this show if one at all. The one that's limited to like 200 that they only hand out to VIP guests and is not for sale.
It will be a re-release but which one! Hey, I need my kubrick fix

I have the Bespin sets and have been wanting to add the Hoth ones for a long time!

« Last post by Brian on May 23, 2013, 08:53 PM »From what I understand, Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch are under some sort of strange rights agreement where they can both use them in their respective movies. However, Marvel can't currently mention anything about them being mutants, having Magneto for a father, etc. It will be interesting to see if Whedon still uses them going forward, or how different they will be. Fox does seem like the type to just include Quicksilver to be a pain in Disney/Marvel's rear though. I know that they tried to work out a deal to have Wolverine/Hugh Jackman cameo in the Cap war sequences in Captain America, but Fox said no.

I know that this had come up earlier, but hadn't we also heard that Joss Whedon was going to be putting Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in the next installment of Avengers? WTF?!?!
