Very nice R2 collection.   8)
I do not see a vinty Wind Up R2 on your list. Is one of them included in your 5 1977 R2-D2s?

As for me, I have no focus on an individual item. I just collect anything & everything!  ;)

I was starting to do a Darth Maul focus, but it died after a few months.  I really didn't eant to spend a lot of money on just Darth Maul stuff.  I'd rather spend it on all sorts of different Star Wars stuff.

I'd have to say though that I'm a huge fan of army building.  I have a ton of Imperials, Rebels, Separatists, Republican Amry, etc.  That's really my main focus I guess.

To bad about the Maul focus Chris I just picked up a QA green carded sample 12" that would have looked great in a Maul focus ;)

I hear ya though about getting into lots of differnt areas. I have a few constant things I am looking for but I usually by whatever I like and can afford at the time. So I guess my main focus is everything SW ;D

Interesting idea Rebeltrader. The good thing is you probably don't have to worry about too many variations. ;)

Very cheap and easy to obtain.  As far as variations, they are minimal which makes things real easy :)

What exactly does that figure look like?  I really don't know what you mean by "QA."

Chris check out the prototype thread in this section. I posted afew pics.

What the green carded QA is: its a quality assurance sample that is sent to the powers that be at hasbro who are responsable for the final OK if a product is ready to go to market. It is one of the first production pieces to be made before going to full scale production. If everything checks out the green card attached to the product is signed off on. Not all green carded samples are exactlly the same as what hits the market depending on any changes they want made.  The example I have I think is the same but I don't have a store bought one to compare it to.

They are just another type of piece in the development phase. I also have no idea how many they produce but if anyone has any thoughts on that please share.

I only collect stuff from ANH ESB and ROTJ, so you won't find any EP1, 2 or 3 stuff in my collection!
