You also might want to be on the lookout for red-boxed Smeagols. I found two at my local KB. No luck in finding a red-boxed Boromir or Gimli, however.

I found the There and Back Again set at my local TRU, and I searched all the sets they had to find a Bilbo that didn't have clown-like painting and a Pippin that wasn't cross-eyed. The employees were like 'what the hell is he doing?' but I'm not buying any screwy figures for a $30 set.

Yea, i saw the There and Back Again set also last night at the TRU here, but didnt pick it up.  The TRU also had Grishnakh and Treebeard and that is it.  My KBtoys had red carded Smeagol, is that a rare figure?

It's uncommon, I'll say that. I had never seen a red-boxed one before. I bought it because I'm stupid.

Yeah the Smeagol came right at the end of the TTT line.  I got Smeagol and Twighlight Frodo at the same time at 7 o'clock at TRU

There's a Helm's Deep Gimli in the (surprise) Helm's Deep Gift Set. All it is is a Gimli from the 2-pack (with Uruk-Hai) without the cape. Never have seen the red-carded version; I think it's an Aussie exclusive.

Me either.  Tonight I bought a FOTR Strider at KB and made an Amon Hen Aragorn out of him.  Pretty simple, really.  And the TTT EE was awesome!

I don't know if anyone noticed this but if you have a Galadriel 6" figure take a look at it real good, and tell me what is wrong with it.

I was looking at my Traveling Bilbo in the Red Packaging, and it says Fellowship of the Ring and has the original packaging that the FOTR figures have it is just they changed the color to red.

Well my point is Galadriel says Fellowship of the Ring also, and has the Red Packaging along with the Two Towers card.  At the upper right hand corner it is Saruman, at the upper left hand corner it is Sam & Frodo, and at the Lower left hand corner it is Eomer.  So basically they just messed up on the packaging, i dont know if it is a Variant or not.

I can't put a picture up cause i don't have a Digital Camera, so sorry.  But if you get what i am saying then cool. ;)

Yeah, I noticed that too. Kinda sloppy on TB's part, but nowhere near as sloppy as the new Trilogy packaging. I guess I've been kind of spoiled by the neat pacakging for the past couple of years.
