DeAgostini Lead Figures
« on: March 4, 2006, 02:21 AM »
A company in Europe, DeAgostini, has been producing lead figures since March, 2005.  These subscription based figures now been found in Mexico!  Will we see them up here someday?

I managed to get my hands on one of these -  Darth Vader, of course.  Click on the 2 thumbnails for bigger pics.

There are a total of 30 figures in the line - they are quite nicely detailed and very heavy.

I was lucky enough to get mine from a seller that had a hand full of Vader collectibles.  At this point, it seems that it's necessary to hit eBay or find a seller on one of the boards - I'm not sure that any e-tailers are actually selling these.

Yeah, these have just hit the shops over here.
The problem with these magazine series is that the shops only ever carry the first one or two then the only way to get them is to subscribe.
After christmas about 15 different magazine series started but  I bet that not even half of them actually finish.
