Well, Like I said, I've got my Ubese bounty hunter finished. I'll submit another one, which doubles as a self-custom for the group project, me as a bounty hunter of course.

I'm thinking about the project for October. What if we did it around the theme "Blue Harvest: Horror beyond Imagination". Basically, this would be as many creatures and aliens you can come up with. A nice halloween-type theme but star wars style.

If you don't know, blue harvest was the set name for Revenge of the Jedi.

Hey, that's a very good idea!  We had mentioned doing organic Separatist Troopers, but I think we could push those back to November.

Good idea Phruby, I'm all for it!

i wont enter that one then halloween is kinda stupid , i dont like anyhting demonic like either, so if we do that blue thing mast phrub said its kinda halloween, i wont do it

Phruby wasn't necessarily saying it has to be demonic and Halloween-ish, he just said we could do Creatures and aliens. The little slogan is just a spoof on the Bue Harvest slogan.

Right. Blue Harvest was subtitled "Horror beyond Imagination". This was what they refered ROTJ to be to keep the press off balance. It would never work in today's internet age.

Basically, it would be any kind of creation or alien you can come up with. If you wanted to make a Jawa with red eyes. Go for it.

Smarty, if you are going to disagree with an idea, that's fine - but for God's sake, please put a little effort into typing what you are trying to say!  Use capital letters where needed, a little more effort into your spelling, etc.   ;)

Don't worry, it's only a fraction of us that can't formulate grammatically correct sentences. See? I'm fifteen and I can spell on a level that's higher than elementary school standards: there is hope for the future, don't worry.

My brother is too, he writes better than I do. ::) My 10 y.o. sister also has better handwriting than me. :P

Smarty, Please try harder. Your posts make almost no sense most of the time. :-\ Just slow down and think about it as you type. Punctuation and capital letters in the right places do wonders.

And I didn't mean to start a fuss over it... it's just that around here, everyone takes the time to allow the other members to understand what it is that we are trying to say.  In order for others to take one seriously, one needs to put a little effort into their posts.

Anyways, back on topic - how far along has everyone gotten on their figure for this month?

And what is the consensus for the October challenge?  Blue Harvest "scary" or whacky aliens?

I now have all my parts for my terrorist. I just got to assemble and paint. Hopfully by the end of the week I'll have a picture. I'm trying to go for that Chewie-like look. ;)

I've started painting mine.  Hopefully by week's end he'll be done.  This will be my first custom where I've sculpted anything, and damn is it challenging!
