Obi-wan tells Luke that he is to old to go on these missions. Yoda was about 883 years old when he fought the dark lord of the sith. Obi-wan may not have been in good shape but he still not to old. He was stronger in the force than anyone was ever alive. So was that a mistake by George? Or was it just a way to presade Luke to start his training?
