Nice update Nirvana.  The color scheme for these guys is great.  I can't tell if the dark color is black or a very dark green, but either way I like it.  I bet they look sweet with helmets on.

I agree with Chewie, the color scheme fits well for riot armor. You really can imagine these guys making public, urban appearances to quell uneasy crowds.

Thanks for your comments, guys. The amor is Tamiya German Grey and I'll try to take better pics.

I always post my cusotms here first and then C&P them to CC and RS but last night I managed to delete the post I was copying off here so here it is:
When the Empire wanted to take down an enemy ship, they needed an elite strike team to board the ship and neutralize its crew. Among the elite Stormtroopers was a specialist whose sole mission was to a) place a demo charge on the hatch leading to the objective, b) relay orders to the Commander of the boarders, and c) law down a suppresive fire for the Stormtroopers that entered the first foray into heavy combat against the repellers.

Well, I hope you like him. LMK what you think, all comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

I like this one a lot Nirvana, one of your better customs I think.  Great choice of parts as it looks like Clone armor shins, which look great.  Also I like the paint pattern a lot.  This guy kind of looks a bit more rogue than offical Imperial forces but I still like it a lot.

Hi Darth Nirvana,

I am not sure if it is the pictures or just me, these figures have a sence of realism going on here. They look more like the 21st century soldiers than star wars figures. It is a very interesting approach to doing a repaint, suttle and effective. Good job.

The shings are from an Evo Stormie that I had lying around. I changed him up a bit, turning the black part into a khaki green and I'm changing his backstory as well.

It's sort of a combination of the pictures and the custom itself. I really need to get a better camera, but on account of my being 14 and having no fixed income, that's not gonna happen for a bit. That really is what I'm trying to do, with the realism thing, and thanks for your comments.

Well, the camera bit the dust. The input jack for the USB port broke off and somehow fell inside the camera itself.

Okay.

In the later days of the Clone Wars,  the Jedi asked for a detachment of clones dispatched to the Seperatist infested Outer Rim planet of Rhen Var to relieve and evacuate a Jedi meditation compound near the northern pole of the planet. Led by Master Clugral Tamble (Neimoidian Jedi I did a while back), the small force of Gunships and Assault Walkers sucessfully extracted the Jedi learners and scholars. Here is Commander Sorren before he was transferred to Coruscant to lead the ARD.

Well, I hope you like him. LMK what you think, all comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

EDIT- I apologize for the large pics, I don't know how to resize them.

I really like this trooper.  I think he's my favorite of yours so far.  Its a great blend of parts and soft goods.  Not too much weathering on the face.  I like the additios to the hair.  I think you were going for snow (at least I hope so) if so, it works great.

He has sort of an ARC feel to him, in that, the comics portrayed the ARCs to be brauny and very capable. I like this look, because it really makes them stand out from other clones. The same is true for this custom, as the crash harness around his legs and the kama give him a much wider (not in a bad way) look, than normal clones -- sort of like a heavy trooper. He really looks geared up!

I'd also like to add that the snow in his hair is a good touch; some customs neglect to show environmental weathering, so it's nice to see it every once in a while.

Good work Nirvana, definitely one of your better custom I think, and good to see a bit less weathering here - I'd suggest maybe a few without any weathering at all on the face of a few?

What I like about this one the most is the straps - they seem so natural on him.  Very well done and great paint scheme!

Man nice looking Clone and I have to agree this is one of your better clones the weathering is very simple and not over done and the addition of cloth goods and plastic accs is great well done.

Well, this is gonna be one of my last posts for a while. :(

Technology in my house has decided to up and not work anymore, and now I'm out a camera as well as my whole computer (I'm at a relative's right now for Easter). I might not have another update for maybe 2 weeks, maybe sooner. Doesn't mean I'll stop customizing, though. In fact, I've just finished what I think is my best custom yet- a complete remake of Neimoidian Jedi Master Clugral Tamble.

I'll also be absent from other people's threads, so I apologize in advance for not giving anyone compliments.

Just a heads up.

Goodbye Tarful. Goodbye Darth_Nirvana. Miss you I will. :'(

jk  ;D That's too bad that we won't be hearing from you for a while. It'd be nice to at least see a post or two ever so often, though, if you've got alternative forms of internet access nearby! The Neimoidian custom you speak of sounds awesome, and I'm sure we'll all be eagerly waiting for a glimpse at it upon your return! Besides, I'm sure it's good to take a break from these forums every once in a while.  ::) ;D

Good luck with the tech problem, and meanwhile happy customizing.

DN, sorry to hear about your computer problems; they can be a big pain.  Hopefully your computer will get fixed up soon and we can get some more updates, these guys are looking good! 8)

I'm surprised at how much I like the Boarding Party Trooper.  The parts usage (Evo Stormie lower legs with Clone Pilot body) works very well.  I might have to try something like that with my broken Evo Sandtrooper.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Good luck with the PC issues.  Looking forward to seeing some new customs.  The neimodian sounds great.
