After a long hiatus, some vintage stuff fell into my lap this week.  A co-worker's parents found his childhood toys and he brought them in to work to sell.  I bought a pair of biker scouts, a pair of jawas, a pair of AT-ST drivers, a Jedi Knight Luke with perfect (and I mean perfect) paint to replace my nose-dinged one... Weapons for all of these, then I bought Echo Base, as well as the probe droid and turret from the other hoth set, a Y-Wing (complete and in great shape) and a Cloud car missing one of the canopies.   I also picked up a few extra weapons to replace one or two that I think might have been repro in my set like a blue saber for Jedi Luke and I also bought an extra Barada/Yak staff with the idea that I'll be in the market for Yak Face sometime later this year.

So I'm looking for a cloud car canopy if anyone has a spare. :)

Thanks. :)

I was going to buy a dewback from him, but he decided to keep it and there was an Interceptor, but the stickers were peeling up.  He's also got another pile of stuff he's going to bring in sometime that may or may not include an Ewok Village and some other good stuff.

Wow - you never hear about stuff like this these days.  Great catch!  If he has anything left, you should have him post here - I'm sure people would scoop up the rest of the leftovers!

Tell me about it... Here's what is left if anyone is interested I'll put you in touch with him (I warn you though, I took most of the good stuff).

Slave I
TIE Interceptor
Snowspeeder
Droid Factory (Pretty much just the base)
Jabba and Dias
Some misc figures, many of which are sticky

A few days after I first posted about this, he brought in a very nice AT-ST (minus one of the side guns) that I gave him $15 for - so I'm also in the market for a side gun (right side, left side if facing).

That Kenner Commercials DVD would be a blast to watch.  And FX-7 will make a very nice addition to your other pieces, like you mentioned.  Congrats!

The DVD is cool, but that Dulok is awesome. Are there anymore in that series?

Yes there is, a few from the Droids & Ewoks series. I found a bunch on the bay last year & I had to find the pics that I kept of them. They come in four colours & I think a complete set will go for $600 plus.

Started a little restoration project this week.  The co-worker I was blathering about a few weeks ago brought me an Ewok Village.  He gave it to me for free.  It was missing half of the pieces, and was filthy - but I've been slowly cleaning it with diluted rubbing alcohol and water on q-tips.  I managed to win everything that is missing except the drum off of eBay for $25.00 shipped.  So I'm one drum away from having a very nice Ewok village for around $30.00 or $35.00.  Hooray.  You can see some before/after stuff in these pictures as far as the dirt on the base was concerned.  The good news is almost all of it is coming off - there are a few spots I missed that I'm going to go back and run over a second time once I finish getting the majority of the crud off.

Got a nifty box from Dale today in a deal that's been going on for a while (too long).  I'm now the very proud owner of a DT Luke.
