Great week for my vintage collection, first the Sears Cantina Adventure set, and now Blue Snaggletooth!  ;D

I wouldn't call him a bargain, but it was a fair price for a pretty sharp figure with good paint apps, even on the boots where there is just mininmal wear. The belt buckle looks perfect though, and he comes with original blaster as well.

Oh, and it's the "Dented Toe" version to boot. Gotta love that.

This is pretty much the last figure I needed, although there are still the 6 Uber-Variants out there calling to me. (Vinyl Cape Jawa, Orange Hair Luke, the 3 DT figures, and rocket-firing Fett, when I hit the lottery)

So it's now down to the AT-AT, Ewok Wagon, Imperial Sniper, Cloud City, Death Star, and the Yak-Face coin and I'm 100% complete. (And then on to Droids, Ewoks, etc)

Nice score on the blue snags McMetal.  I'm on the look-out for a nice condition one as well so please PM me if you happen to come across another one.  I traded my C-5 or so one wih obviously repainted boots as part of  my recent 12" boxed Han trade deal.

In all the hubbub surrounding SDCC last week, I negelected to mention my latest Vintage score - the Imperial Sniper.  :D

This completes my collection of mini-rigs, and a fine addition it is too.

One step closer!

Finally broke down and picked up the Vintage Cloud City playset, not very cheaply I'm afraid, but it's a good one. The prices on these have started to jump lately and I have a feeling there may be a resurgence of interest in true vintage stuff due to the recent relaunch of the modern lines.

Flirted with a vinyl cape jawa earlier in the week, but I just couldn't bite without seeing the clear crosshatching on the cape. It just looked too smooth.

Not much left now...Ewok Wagon and Yakface POTF coin are sure to be the hardest. Death Star and At-At should be the easiest. Then I'm 100% complete. :)

Cool stuff Dale.  Is the Squid cape truly orange or a faded red?

It's a brownish/red cape version. Thx Brent.   :)

Very cool.  I'd love to have that variation in my collection.

Nice on the Squid head. The cape and collar look exactly like mine. Pretty cool.

I picked up a loose complete Jabba at Chicago Comic Con, along with a loose complete Dewback and a sealed boxed Vehicle Maintenance Energizer (say that three times fast).  There were lots of vintage goodies at the con (including a boxed mint Droids A-wing - only $720) but I had to pass on a lot of it.  It was cool just to see some of it.

I would have slapped whoever was selling that A-Wing and told them to take a peek at eBay to see how wildly inflated that price is. Those things are EASILY scored in original packaging for far less than that.

I agree on the over price of that A-Wing, can be had for a lot cheaper.

Everything there was wildly overpriced (except for Jabba, I got him for $35, which is about what he goes for on ebay).  Everyone had their prices on everything jacked up by 100% or more.

Not much of a score, but I finally picked up the two folding cardboard inserts to keep my Land of Jawas' Sandcrawler upright. That only took about eight months.  ::)

Slow going right now otherwise.

Yikes, what's up with Nazi Vader?
