I thought of it more as a Travlota Vader but that's just me.  (am I the only one that sees Nazi overtones in SW?)

FINALLY scored my Yak Face POTF Collector's Coin last night on eBay. Not at all cheap, but long overdue. This completes my collection of vintage figures and coins. Still saving room for vinyl cape jawa and a few DT variants, but otherwise I am good to go now.

All that is left is the Death Star playset, AT-AT, and that @#$%&* Ewok Battle Wagon. I have lost more auctions on that stupid wagon that on any other single item ever on eBay.  >:(

LOL...start saving up now - this stuff is expensive!  ;D

Thanks, I was lucky to have retained most of my collection as a kid. I didn't have all that far to go to complete the rest.

Yeah, it's frustrating for sure. I recently decided to try a different approach - buying the damn thing piecemeal and trying to assemble a complete one from multiple auctions.

I have scored 2 broken/incomplete ones in the past 2 weeks, and essentially all I am missing now is the ladder and the drum/seat that sits on the top of the thing.

Being in the midst of a pretty pronounced new toy lull, I just feel compelled to make some kind of progress on the vintage front.

Landed a longtime grail and nice piece - ESB Sandcrawler.

The ESB version was only available in Canada in 1980.  Very happy!   ;D

Is this any different from the one released originally here in the States?

Looks like the exact same sculpt to me, but maybe I'm missing something?

Oooh, GDE.  Very, very nice.

McMetal, I don't think there's anything different other than the ESB and French markings.

Brent is right, also the box & instructions are in French & English. If it was a complete with everything then... chaching! Canadian exclusives are very sought after by collectors.

Whew, thanks - not worthy of adding to The List.

I do love that Palitoy stuff though, definitely aim to pick all that up someday.
