Great find Darby, it must've felt pretty good the day Luke arrived.  :)

Just a small acquisition today:

...for my Snowtrooper army!  79 and counting...  I think I have a problem.  :D

Whoa - that's one heck of an invasion force.

Darby - that DT Luke is awesome.  Where did you get it?

Congrats on the DT Luke!

This is like the bike riding chimps that had to follow the Beatles after the DT thing, but I can't bring myself to pay for a repainted pull apart C3PO (ie Droids C3PO) even though I love the look of it so I am now instead the owner of just his head and torso. Maybe over the years I will pick up the limbs and pretend I bought him on a pay plan with interest.

Now if I can get my hands on most likely a scuffed up Tig and a most likely robeless Sise my half ass collection of basic figs will be complete (my definition of complete anyway).

I like how you have the Yellows to the back (cowards?) in that line-up.

Trouble... trouble again...

Huge THANKS to Jason (CorranHorn) for helping me close a pretty big hole in my collection. Been looking for the DROIDS A-Wing for a very long time, and the Side Gunner and ATL Interceptor too. Very happy to finally add these to my collection!

Very jealous Darby. I have that same hole in my collection. Congrats!

These come up fairly regularly in the vintage classifieds on RS.  I've get spares of the smaller ships I believe and found the A-Wing in great shape with sounds for $75.

Jason I'm toying with a few options on displaying them. I wanted to put the A-Wing with my Skiff, which is in a smaller display case where I kind of keep my 'neato' stuff. Won't exactly fit though with some of the other things in there so I need to make some adjustments. Right now besides the boxed skiff I have a MIB Palitoy Jedi AT-ST Walker, Regal Jawa, and an amazingly minty Kenner plush Chewie. Kind of filled up.

Checked Tig Fromm off my list today. After watching paint rubbed, no staff or coin loose versions sell for $100+ on ebay and complete loose ones sell for closer to $175 I decided to jump on one at Brianstoys that I've had my eyes on for a while. It was right in the middle of those as far as price. AFA graded carded version. C50 B70 F80. I thought it was a steal of a price. Not sure why it lasted. At $150 (-$15 w/ coupon so $135) it was a little more than I wanted to spend on a loose Tig Fromm which is what I was expecting to own some day, but I sold some sports cards I decided I could let go in place of this and am happy I did so. Cool to have one carded.

I know AFA is not everyone's favorite, but it can't be that hard  to bust open one of those cases. Again just surprised it was that price. Obviously the card and bubble aren't great, but it's just a couple creases and dent to the lower right of bubble. The figure, staff and coin alone are worth that (again if the recent ebay auctions I've watched are a good judge). So needless to say I'm excited about it.

Sorry to make a short story long.

Here Sisey Sisey Sisey........

Great score Nick. I've been meaning to pick him up, along with Sise, and like all the other pieces I've dithered on (like, I don't know, 12 backs...) the market has lost its mind.
