FYI for all you Aurebesh geeks out there, the console on the Senate Pod reads: "SW Fans Rule"

A nice little nod from Hasbro

That's ******* awesome.

I'm surprised it didn't say "Star Wars fans are suckers!"

Man, you got that right!

Another pathetic Canuck begging here...if anyone could pick up an extra Skirmish set for me I would greatly appreciate it, as there are no Targets here in Canada....I have lots of trade feedback here, I am good for it.
Thanks in advance.

If I ever find these I'll be stoked.

Great pics in the image database BTW.

This is a fun looking set... but I still wish they had renamed it a bit and called it something like "Declaration of an Empire" or something of the sort, and made a red robed Palpatine here and thrown in a Senate Padme... and then throw in the Shocktroopers with the Pod as most people want those anyway it seems.

I kind of got inspired by the whole thought of the Palpatine... so I know this isn't the customs section, but here's a custom I worked on tonight to better illustrate that Palpatine.  They have the parts to make a red one similar to that, although my version isn't movie accurate.   :-\

Sweet, Chewie.  I had hoped this set would provide us with a Senate Duel Palpy, but alas, I think I'm just going to put my Sidious Bust Up in there.  I'll put something under him so he appears half way normal.

Hi Spuffy, thanks and that Bust Up really is cool looking isn't it?  I wish Hasbro had made a figure based more like that.  If you want to discuss a pretty simple custom you could do using the Bust Up you already have, just let me know by PM or in the customizing secion.

The Shocktroopers might not make perfect sense here but seeing that most people want them... that is what I meant.

 :)

Yeah, I figured that's what you were thinking of.  I just don't expect Hasbro to go to any extra expense is all (new Padme sculpt) and the lack of logic.  Too much of a stretch for them.  Getting a senate pod for Mas Amedda and friends and then a senate seat with Padme and friends would be neat.

I love it. ;D  Does the battle pack include 2 cardboard pods or did you open 2 of the.
You are never alone when there's a clone.

Man that's cool... the Senate Pod rocks... I can't wait to get a few of these... but I wish the pod was larger.  Oh well, I'm not complaining.   :)

Just out of curiousity, what does the bottom of the pod look like?  I'm wondering if I can make some sort of platforms for them...

They're 2 paper bands that wrap around the stupid plastic trays that they impossibly bind the figs into. I wish I had 2. I'm hunting another set.

CHEWIE, I'll try to take a pic of them bottom of it. My machine's been going nuts when I hook my camera to it...

Wow, I didn't expect a pic (especially so quickly) - thank you Ook for the pic.

Nice, nice!  I think this is one of the best pack-ins I've seen Hasbro do in a long time... yeah it takes the place of a figure, but we get figures all the time and rarely any sort of piece like this.

Thanks again for the great pics, I can't wait to hopefully find a few of these sets.   :)
