I'm just happy they won't be anything resembling an army builder like the covert ops trooper.

My first impression?  Kinda boring.   :-\

Knowing how hard it is to get SWS.com exclusives makes it easier to handle if this is what we'll be getting.  Hell, I like the Holiday Vader more than these.

Of course, it's hard to be fair when I've just got 2 B&W photos to look at.

My first impression . . .

Lucas in his study with the action figures of his family.

Door pops open with Rick coming in  . . . .

Lucas: throws the figures into a desk drawer, talks with McCallum. Then at the end asks
"You didn't see anything did you Rick?"

"Nope, George, your cool. I did not see you playing with the dolls of you and your family."

Taken from the Space Balls.

Actually, I'm not excited about the figures. I don't have a Jorg Socal, so if I get these great, if not, great.

In a way, it doesn't really matter to me if this is Lucas.  I'm a huge fan of the guy, and I love his work, but to me, these are ROTS figures, regardless of what they are called.

Here's a colored pic for you:

This was taken from the costume exhibit I went a couple weeks ago.  Sorry about the lighting.   ???

I'm game for these figures...  Background aliens and the like are always welcomed in my collection if they're quality work.  The prequals were filled with so little uninteresting background stuff compared to the OT that stuff like this seems as though the only viable options for obscurity.

Better than Jorg Sacul, that's for damn certain.

I've been out of action for a while, so just to chime in on these:  cool for the people that want them, but very boring to me.  If it means a chance at getting figs like Dorme, then I'm all for it.

To bad Lucas' kid did not play Dorme then.  I doubt we ever see Dorme especially since they won't make Padmes now.

Hahaha! I'll get one or two of these sets.

I'd like to canibalize Papa Lucas for a custom of "The Phantom" from Phantom Of The Opera's Masquerade scene.

Simply awesome!  Thanks for the heads up - count me in for two sets.  The Zett kind of to me is a waste, but the others look great.

Baron Papanoida - Very nice, it's a goofy outfit, but it looks like a great figure - great sculpt.

Chi Eekway- Wow, that is extremely cool - her "overcoat" thing is neat.  I'd like to see more views of the figure too.  Looks like some awesome custom fodder.  In case I have the names mixed up, I am referring to the blue girl.

Terr Taneel - I forsee some sort of Naboo Queen customs coming from this - this is a great looking figure.

Overall, one heck of a cool set I think - it will be nice to add in some Coruscant type residents.  Really needed some more obscure ones like this, and it fits the bill nicely.  Definitely need two (or more) sets.

Well, it's an online exclusive.  Worth it to me, just to get these figures - they are unlike anything you can buy in the store.  A few Amidalas kind of similar to the one chick and I don't think Zett's worth more than a couple bucks (maybe custom fodder though).  But to me it's worth it.
